The overall experience was disappointing to be honest, especially considering the high cost of the stay. Our room’s tub was not clean as I found a hair hiding in one of the tub’s fixtures and seen it once it started filling with water. There was also some type of film that was on the top of the water when the tub was filled — indicating it was not properly cleaned or had cleaning residue left behind. The room’s thermostat did not work at all, no power or anything. That combined with the bedroom window not being able to open even ½ way, made for a warm and uncomfortable stay. It was hard for us to get to sleep. Lastly I do not understand the point of having the meal tickets for breakfast. They are $20 per person, yet when you go to the Smitty’s restaurant to use it, the value is only good for $15? That makes zero sense and customers are being ripped off $5 per person. The only positive thing about the experience was how comfortable the bed and pillows were. Unless changes are made I would not recommend to family and friends, nor would I come back to stay.

No blow dryer in the room. No way to make a cup of tea. At 12:00 noise outside our doorway people talking and laughing loud enough to wake us. The lady at front desk who checked us in was not welcoming or friendly at all. There was no hot water from sink tap to wash up.

Typical Holiday inn express with no free breakfast but asking for top rates in town. Staff was very friendly and nice. Rooms were ok I guess. Clean and accomodating. Only negative things were poor water pressure for shower and slow Wifi.
