I like this La Quinta, the staff and esp the location. I did request a ground floor weeks ago because I had my dog and it would have been much more convenient. My room, however, ended up on the second floor. At least the room was at the end of the hall so it wasn’t too bad taking him up and down the exit steps. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

Room was cozy and service was good. The pillows were entirely too small and hard like they were wash and dried. Was bummed breakfast ended so early at 9am. We came from CST so sleeping in was much later for us with the time change.

Clean Rooms. Comfortable beds. Wonderful caring and helpful.staff. Breakfast was very limmitted, very few options, we have been to other La Quinta Hotels and this location had a very poor breakfast menu (no scrambled eggs, no granola for yogurt, etc.)

Check in was easy, but our first room had some mold and a soft spot on the floor from what appeared to be a leak from the ac unit. In our second room, we found a syringe wedged between the iron and the wall in the closet. It appeared to be a clean syringe, but not sure why one would’ve there anyway, or not found by house keeping. We got a third room and it was good. The beds were very firm, but I slept good on them. Breakfast left something to be desired. There were no eggs, so they put out two different types of hash browns. The first ones I got were cold, but the ones that were soon replaced were good. I wish there was a better coffee selection as well. None of the ice machines worked. Instead I used a scoop and got ice from a bag (like you would get at a gas station or grocery store) to get ice. Overall I would give it a 6/10.
