Wish we had stayed longer

We had a wonderful 1 night stay. Our instinct prior to arrival is that we should have booked for longer, we were correct. If we get to visit again we will definitely stay here at the Old Colorado Inn.

There were a couple of hiccups with A/C but the owner stepped in and handled everything very quickly. I was very pleased. I will definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Old Colorado Inn from check in until the time we left! It was great to learn more about the history of the hotel, the location is unbeatable with a reserved parking lot and the ability to get anywhere you’d want in Downtown Stuart by walking or tram and the room was great! Clean, spacious, very comfortable bed- can’t wait to return!

Amazing stay while in town for a show. Got an upgrade to a cottage with pool access. Beautiful, historic property that was meticulously maintained. Great era furnishings and extremely comfortable bed.

The general manager, Minnie went above and beyond to be to accommodating. Any thing that we needed they provided. The owner Steve was very friendly. Right in the heart of downtown. Great coffee shop was across the street.

My girlfriend and I stayed at your hotel, The “Old Colorado Inn” in Stuart, Florida on June 3, 2025 through June 6, 2025. We were in the "Flagler Suite". A king bedroom and a queen bedroom, after our second night my girlfriend noticed a “saw dust” type of substance on the side of the bed she had slept on the night before (the side closest to the window). At first she thought it was bed bugs but upon closer evaluation it appeared to be coming from the ceiling above the king bed. She was very upset when she discovered these particles in the bed. We both also noticed a gritty feeling on our feet and discovered there is apparently a second area at the foot of the king bed as well. She had to have inhaled and consumed some of the feces falling from the ceiling in her sleep. On the 5th, the morning it was discovered, she took pictures (see below), she then took a wet washcloth to remove the feces and smoothed out the bed. Approximately 20 minutes later there were more feces. Housekeeping showed up shortly thereafter (two ladies). She showed them the area in question. The Hispanic lady said she took pictures and sent them to the owner. We never heard anything from him about the issue. The night of the 5th we didn’t want to sleep in the feces so we turned to the spare bedroom. The whole reason we chose this suite was because of the king bed. The overhead light in the spare bedroom would not turn off and the fan would not work either.

I unexpectedly found myself in need of accommodations while awaiting boat repairs. I had never heard of this hotel. I just happened upon while searching for a room. I can honestly say I am thankful for the boat trouble. Without I would have never found the Old Colorado Inn. This is an exceptional hotel with an impressive staff. Upon arrival, Minnie at the front desk gave me a tour and the property and provided valuable information on the surrounding area. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay. This hotel has earned my business and my recommendation. Whenever I find myself with 50 miles of Stuart, FL. This is where I am staying.
