I absolutely loved this place, so much so I extended my stay not once but twice! I would have been happy to never leave. The location is fantastic. The only downside was the totally unnecessary Buddha bar type disco and MC in the outside patio restaurant, which was so out of keeping with the sublime surroundings. I used to go to the original Buddha bar in Paris 30 years ago, but I do not want this in a beautiful sleepy lakeside hotel while on holiday. I also felt for the people whose rooms were on the front with the noise every night. Whoever brainchild those did not understand the hotels unique charm. I would leave the property in the evenings, take a walk and eat elsewhere else to avoid it. Thankfully my room was in the back.

This is an old fashion grand hotel, with the courteous staff to match. Our room was on the small side but adequate. The view of the lake is very nice. For us, the best part was being able to walk out of the hotel and amble on the promenade. By the way, the breakfast was very good.

The hotel was beautiful. They had staff that were eager to help with anything that came up. We were greeted every time we entered or exited the hotel. The room was a junior suite and lovely.

Fabulous hotel in a great location.

Fabulous hotel on the lake. Excellent location. Easy transport links to Montreux. Only grumble was a poorly fitted shower head which made showering a bit of a challenge. A small point in what was otherwise the perfect stay.
