The first time you drive up to this gorgeous home built in a Canadian mountain resort style, you’ll know that you made the right decision to book this rental for your stay on Bear Mountain. The gorgeous architectural details and landscaping is the finest in the Greater Victoria area and the peaceful residential neighbourhood is safe, quiet and perfect for a getaway. On the main floor guests will find a luxury personal theater, home office space, bedroom, four piece bathroom, laundry room and bright, two bedroom suite that includes a full kitchen, living room, laundry facilities and access to the back patio and yard. On the second story, you have access to the enormous chef’s kitchen, formal sitting room, three, comfortable bedrooms, and access to the stunning upper deck which offers outdoor dining, a hot tub and breathtaking views of the Strait, San Juan Islands, and the city of Victoria.

While you’re staying in this gorgeous resort community, you can rest easy knowing that you’re close to markets, liquor stores, restaurants and other daily convenience shopping. Head north up the Saanich Peninsula to explore the world famous Butchart Gardens, check out the charming town of Sidney and if you’re looking to explore the Gulf Islands, the Swartz Bay ferry terminal at the north end of the Saanich Peninsula is where you’ll find ferry service to numerous islands, each with their own personalities and communities.

For outdoor adventures, walk through the wooded paths and find hidden waterfalls at Goldstream Provincial Park, take a leisurely walk around beautiful Thetis Lake and enjoy a more challenging hike up Mount Wells.
