Highly recommend staying here if you can. The welcome gift is very nice and appreciated. Great area views etc The room very spacious and quiet, very clean And most appreciated - every staff member I dealt with in pub and the guest side was very friendly and super helpful. It’s always been a great pub with unique bevy and food - and staying here has been the same

The staff were always friendly and helpful. There were delicious fresh baked goodies available every morning at the front desk shop, and location was so handy to the city, Beautiful location too!

The rooms are in an old Victorian house. Nicely appointed. Although it's nice to have a nice jetted tub, it is difficult to get in and out of it and the shower curtains tends to envelope you while showering.

Everything's great apart from the bed

Friendly staff, great breakfast, dinner, and beer selection, and the chocolate pairings were fantastic. We liked the location as it's slightly away from the intensity of the city centre, and the river walk in both directions is lovely. The only complaint is that the bed in room 4 is terrible. The mattress is too old, lumpy and saggy. We barely slept and both now have back ache which is troubling the rest of our trip.

It’s very old. Not just a heritage building, the doors to the bathroom are huge and there’s no privacy . You can’t open a window and there’s no air conditioning. The tv is a 24 inch. The building just smells old, the bed slants to one side and I couldn’t get my power source to stay plugged in, It’s just not worth the money … On the upside it’s close to the Harbour.

We stayed in guest house 6. The roof is very thin and we could hear everything our neighbors above did. A lot of items were in need of a fix(handles on dressers missing, windows without screens, and handles ready to fall off). This property is for sale, so I imagine these things will not be repaired. That being said, we had a wonderful stay, and the grounds are stunning. Very good trip!

Spinnakers Brew Pub and Suites

We know Spinnaker's Brew Pub from living in Victoria 2005 to 2008. I stayed there recently taking my daughter to UVic. It is ideally located on the water, the suite (7) is large with a bedroom with en suite and a lull-out sofa bed. Private oitdoor sitting area. The food there is fantastic as is the on-site craft beer!
