Holiday house with pool for 5 to 6 persons

The house in maisonette character has about 120 square meters of living space and is very tastefully refurbished. Forward to the quiet street, there is a flat terrace, on which, if necessary, the car can be safely parked. Behind the house is a courtyard, which is designed with comfortable lawn and invites you to relax. A large pergola and two equally large umbrellas provide shade. Two sunbeds invite you to sunbathe. A large table, six chairs and a charcoal grill complete the whole (please use only on the terrace in front of the house).

In the basement there is the large hall, the living room with TV, DVD player, radio and phonograph a shower room and a spacious separate kitchen with integrated washing machine. Clothes horse, iron and ironing board are also available.

A small spiral staircase leads to the three bedrooms, a large and a small double and a single room. For a sixth person a folding bed is available. In the master bedroom a parabolic antenna ensures that you can receive almost all German and many foreign channels ("Tagesschau", "Sportschau", "Tatort"). There is also a large desk here. Of course, there is a fast internet connection (WLAN) throughout the house. The single room is also equipped with TV and desk.

Right next to the house is the swimming pool, which is open from the beginning of July to about October and which may also use some other residents. You have your own key. Alternatively, there is a large outdoor swimming pool in Villanueva, as well as in the neighboring village of Almendro. Near the house there is a children's playground. A number of cozy bars and restaurants with excellent cuisine invite you to linger. I recommend the "Tavern El Puchero" (excellent tapas) and the "Bar / Tavern Sebastián". Take a look at the neighboring village of Almendro with its beautiful church. Everything is very well within walking distance.

The whole environment is varied and very attractive. So you should definitely visit the beautiful and fantastically scenic village of Sanlúcar de Guadiana, which is located about 15 kilometers from Villanueva de los Castillejos. Take a boat trip on the mighty Guadiana River and change to the Portuguese side to Alcoutim. Architecturally and gastronomically, the two places have a lot to offer.

Drive to the beautiful, idyllic town of Ayamonte, where you can shop very well. There, the Atlantic also awaits you with its golden sandy beaches. Tourism is limited here. And so in Isla Canela, Cartaya, Lépe or Isla Cristina, you will surely find a quiet spot for yourself and your loved ones. Bath towels, beach mats and cool bags can be found in the house.

The region around Villanueva de los Castillejos is also a paradise for hikers and cyclists. The appropriate technical ambience can be rented in Ayamonte. And if you want, you can also cross the magnificent Rio Guadiana via an architecturally very interesting bridge, and you're on Portugal's Algarve. Tavíra, Faro and Lagos greet. But you can also use the ferry. Do not worry, there are almost no passport controls at the border.

By the way, you are in Seville in about an hour and a half by car. For this extraordinarily beautiful and interesting city you should take at least a day or two to admire all the sights. When driving there you will automatically pass the provincial capital Huelva, which also has its own charms.

Villanueva de los Castillejos itself offers some cultural highlights throughout the year. First of all, the "Easter Fiesta Romeria de Nuestra Señora de Piedras Albas" is an experience of a special kind. Even palate friends get their money. Every July, the "Feria y Velada" takes place, a special week for gourmets. Villanueva de los Castillejos is known for the quality of its meat.
