My wife and I stayed 5 nights at Studio by the Bay. It's very comfortable and does not at all feel like a typical cramped studio...quite the opposite. The bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is excellent and well stocked for cooking at home, which we did the entire time. The grill worked great (we had to ask for grilling utensils, and they were delivered). The outdoor shower is great when coming back from the beach and has hot-cold water just like inside. The Studio is merely a few minutes walk through wooded park trails to Greenfield Beach and other gorgeous white sand beaches. We were visited by Roos and King Parrots while sitting on the front terrace. It's a nearly perfect place for a short stay with only a couple of qualifications -- 1) As others mention, driving to the Studio from the road can be a challenge with a sewer cover at the entrance possibly scraping (badly) the bottom of your car if not very careful (and if it rains, the drive to and parking at the Studio is not paved so you should probably park on the road or the host's drive instead on another street); 2) landscaping seems to have been a bit neglected (many dead palm branches) which is unfortunate because it's really beautiful; and 3) communicating with the management company was challenging sometimes as they did not respond to texts or an email until we sent a message to the general information email address. These issues however did not prevent a very enjoyable experience and we recommend this Studio.
Quiet, secluded, opened to bushland, easy beach/ bushtrack access. Quality fit out - all areas. Highly recommend the glass of wine on deck - so peaceful.
