Welcome to The Cosy Houseboat, one of the accommodations at Ubuntu Lake Houses. This fully equipped houseboat embraces you with a holiday vibe. With a lovely canopy in the garden to seek shade during warm days and enjoy the sun through the sliding doors in winter with the wood stove on to keep you extra warm.



With direct access to the clear water and all amenities within walking and cycling distance, it`s the perfect spot amidst the Vinkeveense Plassen.



Listing Space:

The houseboat comfortably accommodates 4 people:



1 bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200)

1 bedroom with a bunk bed (both 90 x 200)

1 pull out sofa with a double bed (140x200)



Guests have complete privacy and access to the beautifully landscaped garden with fencing as well as the entire houseboat.



Listing Acces:

You have full access to the beautiful garden, where privacy is guaranteed thanks to the surrounding fencing. Additionally, you have unlimited access to the entire houseboat, providing your stay with a sense of exclusivity and comfort.



A key safe is available at the houseboat for self-check-in, allowing you to arrive at your convenience, after 3 PM. We will provide all information regarding your stay 5 days in advance. The check-in code will be shared with you at 3 PM. If you require alternative check-in or check-out times, please inquire about the possibilities. (Organizing parties in this accommodation is not allowed.)

Vinkeveen is a beautiful picturesque village, particularly known for the Vinkeveense Plassen. It`s a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts, such as sailors, kayakers, and divers, due to the clear water and the diversity of flora and fauna underwater.



In addition to water sports, Vinkeveen also offers beautiful walking and cycling routes around the lakes and through the surrounding countryside. The area is known for its peaceful and natural surroundings, making it an ideal place for relaxation and enjoying the outdoors.



Vinkeveen is not far from urban areas such as Amsterdam and Utrecht, making it attractive for those who want to combine nature with the proximity of urban amenities, attractions, or nightlife.



Moreover, there are two supermarkets and a variety of dining options nearby, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay for our guests.



Listing Transit:

Accessibility

Motor vehicles cannot directly reach the accommodation, allowing you to enjoy total tranquility on the edge of the Vinkeveense Plassen, surrounded by nature, birds, and serene silence.



A 550-meter walk from the parking lot will bring you to this prime location.



Upon arrival, our convenient cargo bike awaits you at the entrance of the harbor, allowing you to effortlessly transport all your belongings to this beautiful holiday destination.

We provide 2 bicycles free of charge, allowing you to easily cycle to and from the parking lot. Upon arrival at the parking lot, you can safely leave these bicycles.



Furthermore, there are 10 large carts available in the park for free use.



Parking

From October 1st to March 31st, you can park for free on the road in front of the harbor. Outside of this period, there is a maximum parking duration of 2 hours within the disc zone between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM.



It`s possible to park your car in a large parking lot opposite the park for a fee. (The cost to park your car in the parking lot opposite the park is €10 per day.)



On-demand services

For a fee, we offer the option to pick you up with a golf cart and transport all your luggage directly to the accommodation. This service is available Monday to Friday between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM and on Saturday and Sunday between 11:00 AM and 10:00 PM. If you`re interested, please inquire about the possibilities in advance.

Verder stellen we diverse voorzieningen ter beschikking voor een heerlijk vakantiegevoel aan het water.



Waaronder een airconditioning voor de warme zomers dagen. In de tuin staat een comfortabele tuinset, naast de loungeset in de overkapping.



Voor de culinaire liefhebbers is er een barbecue beschikbaar om van te genieten tijdens uw verblijf.



Tegen betaling kunt u een bootje of SUPs (Stand-Up Paddleboards) bij ons huren, zodat u optimaal kunt genieten van de verfrissende Vinkeveense Plassen direct vanaf onze locatie.



Aan het begin van de Haven kunt u op vrijdag, zaterdag en zondag terecht voor een borrel en een hapje van de kleine kaart.



Ook zijn er tal van opties voor het bestellen via thuisbezorgd.

En als u tijdens uw verblijf toch even zin hebt in het stadsleven, dan bent u met de auto (of taxi) in 20 minuten vanaf de parkeerplaats midden in Amsterdam, waardoor deze rustige oase aan de Vinkeveens Plassen de perfecte uitvalsbasis biedt voor zowel ultieme rust als een bruisend stadsleven.



Bekijk vooral de opgegeven voorzieningen en u zult zien dat het u aan niks zal ontbreken tijdens deze perfecte get-away.



General Behavior Rules:

- Normal interaction with fellow residents and users of the park.

- No noise disturbance to fellow residents (quiet hours on the park from 11:00 PM to 9:00 AM).

- No parties or gatherings allowed.

- No theft or misuse of others` belongings.

- Avoid improper parking and/or ignoring parking instructions.



In case of excessive behavior and failure to comply with the rules, you can be immediately removed from the accommodation.



Any damage to third-party property will be directly charged to the responsible party.
