Way less than expected. Broken sink, broken toilet cover,missing bulbs and worned dirty, dated furniture. Not worth the money. I would have a better experience on a cot on the street than what I experience. My advice, shop around and don't let this be your only option!

I am old school. Miss the 90s when smoking and drinking were allowed in rooms and balconies. But overall great stay, Hare Krishna 👍

Unsanitary conditions

The rooms are filthy. There were hazardous substances (body fluids & blood) on the walls in the common areas & bathroom. The AC did not cool the room & there were no windows that opened on 1st floor. The room had a back door that opened directly to boardwalk but had no screen & could not leave open for safety reasons. The one night we were there, people in one of the rooms on the floor above us had a party until 4:30 am when the police came to shut it down. The common pool area has black water & trash in the pool. We checked out after 1 night

Bedbugs

Room was old in general and area immediately outside of front door was not clean. We checked the bedding before getting into bed…but noticed a few hours checking out that were both covered with bedbugs bites!!

The property was located in a prime spot. It was a very short walk to the beach and and the balcony was prime for the sunrise and people watching. The only thing that we didn't like was the HVAC unit wouldn't cook off the room enough to be totally comfortable at midday but with the balcony door open during the sunset and in the evening it cooled off comfortably. For the budget it's a nice place. I would stay again.

Good location.

Convenient location on beach boardwalk and good restaurant right across the street. Parking lot close to rooms. We stay there twice a year when driving back and forth on the East Coast.

We stayed here due to having to bring our dog with us. Definitely the dirtiest room I have ever stayed in.There was literally a smooshed dog turd on the bathroom floor and another smeared between the beds, trash and about an inch of dirt and dust behind the dresser. The location is great, the front desk staff was great. The AC did not work at all. We had to open the back door to get air in to be able to sleep. Thankfully we only had to stay one night otherwise we would have definitely stayed elsewhere.

Immediately found cockroach in room while checking bed sheets. Manager offered room next door but still looked dirty and did not want to risk bringing anything back home. Refund refused despite repeated requests from myself and Expedia. Suggest avoiding if possible - nicer hotels available at comparable pricing nearby.

The staff are very helpful and friendly! We got a decent room with an ocean view balcony for an affordable price. Close to the beach and restaurants. Will definitely come back.

No long story I love this hotel... One of my favorites!!! Nothing negative to say. Front desk is always helpful they are amazing once you stay there so many times they start to feel like family... Been coming here since 2023 and will be this weekend again for work.. I work down at the beach so I gets rooms sometimes through the week but mostly on weekends to keep from keeping back across the water to Newport News.

I've been coming to this hotel since 2023 and I love it here... I work down at the beach so I stay down for work sometimes during the week and mostly on weekends when I close my store to keep from coming back across the water to Newport News... It's reasonable and the staff are amazing!!!

Worst Hotel experience!!!

Room was dirty. Paint chips and spackle on the floor. It wasn’t vacuumed. Beer cans behind the night stand. I told front desk and they said they would take care of it. Two day stay and it was never cleaned. They didn’t clean room or even bring sheets for the next day. They said no manager in duty nor was there anyone to call.

Down by the sea shore

My stay was two nights durning off season surprisingly there were still a lot of people visiting what beach and the room was perfect right facing the water the owner and his wife ran the place and these are really good community people they genuinely care about there guests and not for a sec had me waiting thanks ocean 27 hotel I had a great trip and you can’t beat that price right Btw those pictures were take from my balcony of my hotel room Please be aware there are no elevators only steps so long as that’s not an issue well then save the money and go here
