We booked this villa on June 4th and paid in full for 8 nights. Unfortunately, when we arrived in Volos, we received no communication from the host regarding check-in. Upon reaching the property, the host informed us that there was no reservation in our name. He quickly referred us back to the booking platform and did not attempt to assist further.The situation felt unusual, as the host showed no surprise or concern. This raised the impression that the villa may have been double-booked. As a result, our group of 10 lost the first day of our holiday and had to find alternative accommodation during peak season, which was stressful and inconvenient.On a positive note, Vrboâs customer support was excellent and handled the matter very professionally.Advice to future guests: Exercise caution when booking this property, as there is a risk of your reservation not being honored.
