River Valley Campground is your peaceful home away from home, tucked in the countryside just outside of Wadena. Whether you're looking to unwind for the weekend or reconnect with friends and family, this private campground offers the space and setting to do just that.
Please note: This is a bring-your-own setup. Guests must provide their own RV, camper, or tentâfire pit is provided on-site and there is fire wood for sale.
A large cabin on-site offers campground restrooms and showers, accessible from an exterior entrance.
We offer spacious spots surrounded by nature and open skies. Rates start at $35/night for RVs and campers and $20/night for tents. You'll enjoy access to private trails and a scenic lake (no swimming, per insurance), plus shared use of kayaks, a canoe, and a rowboatâlife jackets are not provided.
This is a great place to unplug and relax. Expect a quiet, rustic atmosphere with the charm of country living. You may even see a bit of wildlife or hear the sounds of the woods at night.
