This hotel lives up to the "Luxury" in its name Wow, modern spacious rooms, amazing service The front desk workers were sooo kind Fantastic hotel, 2 minute walk from Petra visitors centre, five minute walk from shops and restaurants. 5 minute cab ride up the hill to the town; 15 minute walk back down. Highly recommend this hotel, streaming services on tv (netflix, YouTube) large beds, extremely clean, large bathroom with toilet, bidet, sink and walk in shower. Gift shop in lobby, pool and gym on roof, terrace on roof as well. 24/7 room service food available. Valet parking included. Shoe cleaner machine available (for free) outside hotel main door, useful after the sand/dust from Petra

Such a great location for access into Petra. A lovely rooftop with great sunset views over Petra although whatever you do don’t order the wine ! Fabulous hotel and the pool was fresh but swimmable in October.

Had one problem that really irritated, I was told when I arrived that I could stay until 1300 no problem and then the next day I was told I couldn't. Something else I didn't like was the welcome letter saying dear Mr/Mrs Cederhall, I mean I am a widow and I don't like it when addressed like Mr/Mrs.

Best hotel to stay in for visitors of Petra

The best hotel to place in if you want to be close to Petra's visitor's center. Friendly staff, although there were not many tourists during to the war in Gaza, so not sure if I'd get the same atention if things were different.

Amazing hotel. It seems quite new. The room was very spacious. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. It’s right next to the entrance to Petra. Great to have the rooftop pool to cool down after we did the hike from Little Petra. Could not fault anything in this hotel. Great stay!

Excellent springboard for exploring Petra. Less than 5 minutes walk to the visitor center. My room was well appointed and spotless — and I appreciated the welcome baklava. Great shower, comfortable bed. Good breakfast buffet. The staff is wonderful - very friendly and hospitable. Cannot recommend this hotel enough! (One great thing about the hotel being so close is the ability if you need a break during the brutal midday heat, it’s so easy to go grab a shower and refresh.)

Nice stay in Petea

Wakable distance to the main entrance of Petra. Very clean and comfortable hotel. Pool was fresh and nice after a long day of walking. Staff were really nice, gave us the right info to avoid been scam by the numerous people that will try to scam you. Follow the staff tips, you'll be fine.

Much much better than expected from a decor, staff, service and value perspective! It would be quite easy for Petra Moon Luxury Hotel to rest on its incredibly good location but it doesn’t. It makes you feel welcomed and appreciated from the moment the valet arrives to help you with your bags. Every single staff member I interacted with was helpful, polite and knowledgeable. Great facilities and much better room design than I expected. They could have skimped on materials or floor plan or room features but they simply did not and did everything right. I was debating between this and the Movenpick next door but I believe this was a better choice and a much better value. Highly highly recommended! Our best hotel experience in Jordan so far

The property was within walking distance of Petra which is why we booked it They valet parked the car and I was sure they drove our car during the day we were in Petra as I noticed it had moved and the fuel seemed lower than I left it When we arrived the Receptionist suggested that we did not enter Petra from the visitor centre but if we took a taxi to little Petra and then a jeep to the far entrance we would only have to walk one way and down the 900 steps He arranged a taxi which would cost 20 JD without mentioning the free shuttle bus from across the road from the hotel Fortunately I found out and cancelled his 20JD con Hotel advertised a swimming pool and outside relaxing areas When we got there the whole area was closed for renovations On leaving I mentioned this to the manager who said well you could have gone to the sister hotel next door but we were not told this on arrival Air conditioning was set for heating across the whole hotel not cooling and the temperature was 28 degrees Chose this hotel because it was a 5 star with a swimming pool within walking distance of Petra
