This home has four beds plus a queen air bed, sleeping 10 guests. While staying at this welcoming home, you will enjoy the large fully equipped kitchen with a dining room, great for entertaining and enjoying company. Imagine sitting on the deck sipping your coffee in the morning or enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. You will also appreciate the cozy living room for relaxing and watching your favorite movie with the ambiance of the gas fireplace.

Enjoy the spacious kitchen with a large island and dining room great for entertaining your group. There is a refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, and microwave available. For coffee drinkers, a Ninja coffee maker and a Keurig machine are available for use. When time is limited or you simply don't want to cook, a Ninja Air Fry Oven is easily accessible for cooking frozen pizzas, french fries, and many other foods. Basic spices and oils are provided.

The main bedroom has a king bed with a private bathroom. The other two bedrooms have queen beds with one having a twin bed as well. There is a queen-size air bed with bedding available for extra guests. Guests are responsible for setting up the air bed in any room they desire. All bedrooms have smart TVs with Roku.

This house has two full bathrooms. Enjoy the roomy first bathroom with double sinks, bathtub, and shower to make it easy to get ready for the day. If you forgot to bring your favorite shampoo and conditioner, no worries. The showers are supplied with Dove shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The second bathroom is a private bathroom connected to the main bedroom.

When staying at the Copper House, you'll be staying 3 to 10 miles away from the area's best skiing. In addition, you'll be able to access the snowmobile/ATV routes from the front door. The beautiful Lake of the Clouds is located 47 miles away in the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park. Copper Peak Ski Jump is only 16 miles away.

Friend get together

Great fit for 3 couples on a getaway to see waterfalls in the area. Air conditioning doesn't really reach the bedrooms, so sleeping was a liitle warm.

Very beautiful and clean

The house was gorgeous on the inside. It had everything that we needed and was centrally located for all of our waterfall adventures. Dale was in great communication even when I had to add two extra people to our stay. Will definitely stay again!!

This property was exactly what we were looking for. Our 3 families had both shared and personal space. The home was super clean and welcoming. We enjoyed our long weekend with meals, conversation and games as well as access to waterfalls and Lake Superior shoreline.

Awesome rental

Great place to stay. very clean, very comfortable, it checked all the boxes for us. The 4 of us really enjoyed spending time at the kitchen island. Especially liked that Dale welcomed us into the home he grew up in. Will definitely return!

Loved The Copper House

The Copper House in Wakefield was just what we expected. It was cozy and perfect for our girls trip. We explored the area including the Porcupine Mountains. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the fireplace was a bonus. We will stay here again when in the area.

We really enjoyed this stay. This place was super close to the Snowriver Resort. It was very clean and the host was very kind. His response time was almost instant. My kids really enjoyed playing Uno and Apples to Apples each night. It was very roomy and comfortable. Thank you Dale for your hospitality! 😁

Excellent VRBO with all the amenities!

The Copper House is one of the best VRBO's we've rented! It had all the amenities, close to ski resorts, and the restaurant ideas from the host were excellent. We love to cook too, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The Copper House is very cozy and accommodated 6 adults easily, and had a fun dining area for game night. Dale, the host, was an excellent communicator. When we come back to ski in the UP, we will want to come back to the Copper House, for sure.

Very nice house that had everything and then more!!! Love large rooms and tvs in every room. Cute deck, but never had a chance to use it. Too tired after seeing Lake of the Clouds and 11 waterfalls. Best time of the year to visit! Thank You
