Holiday Park - Robinson Crusoe

Waldbrunn is a cozy village with a rural atmosphere, recognized as a spa town. It is located between the Main and Neckar rivers, in the heart of the Neckar-Odenwald nature reserve. The famous "Castle Road" leads you to a series of interesting discoveries: hidden treasures, secret passages, and mysterious events.

The idyllic holiday resort is situated on the highest mountain (628 m) in the Odenwald (the "Katzenbuckel") and covers an area of 16 hectares, featuring 193 accommodations for a relaxing and pleasant vacation. In the main building, you will find the laundry room and the reception with a kiosk, where you can buy toys, local honey, souvenirs, and ice cream. You can also rent e-bikes at the reception for a fee. Additional amenities include a large adventure playground with table tennis tables, a tennis court, and a library. You can also rent a barbecue hut (free of charge), a tent with a swivel grill (for a fee), and our multifunctional room (for a fee).



Interior:

This house has a living area of about 55 m². It accommodates 1 to 4 people. The spacious living room features a seating area (with cable TV), a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen (with 4 hotplates, a refrigerator, a toaster, and a coffee maker). The bathroom has a shower, sink, and toilet. The bungalow has two bedrooms. The first bedroom has two single beds/a double bed, and the second bedroom has two sleeping spaces (1 bunk bed). All accommodations are individually, comfortably, and cozy furnished and feature a spacious ground floor with a terrace, garden furniture, and a sun umbrella. In winter, a sled is available (free of charge) in the house.



Beautiful forests surround the holiday village, inviting you to enjoy relaxing hikes through nature. Nearby, you can experience the thrill of gliding or ballooning, or immerse yourself in the lively castle festivals of Zwingenberg. In winter, when there is enough snow, well-groomed trails lead directly to the holiday village, perfect for cross-country skiing or winter walks.

A variety of restaurants in the area offer delicious regional cuisine, allowing you to savor the local flavors. For those interested in history and culture, fascinating cities such as Heidelberg, Michelstadt, Mosbach, Eberbach, Miltenberg, and Rothenburg are within easy reach. The idyllic Neckar Valley, known as the most romantic part of the German "Castle Road," is perfect for scenic excursions.

There are countless opportunities for adventure, including visits to the dramatic Wolfsschlucht (Wolf Canyon) or Margarethenschlucht (Margaret Gorge), exploring the caves near Eberstadt, discovering numerous castles, or enjoying a boat trip on the Neckar River. A special highlight is the nearby Katzenbuckeltherme, a relaxing thermal spa perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration.
