Pleasant home in Waldport with garden, inviting deck & sunroom
Summary:
Sand Dollar House
The Space:
The gorgeous ocean beach is just over half a mile from this Waldport home, beautifully tucked into a natural garden setting. Whether you're a surfer, a whale-watcher, or attending Erik Sandgren's annual Oregon Coast PaintOut, this is the perfect place to find rest, relaxation, and a bit of inspiration.
This single-story home sits less than three-quarters of a mile inland of Governor Patterson Memorial State Recreation Site, where you can access the beach for days spent boogie boarding and collecting seashells. Within a mile of your front door, you'll find the Crestview Golf Club, a lovely network of woodland trails for morning walks, and shops and restaurants in downtown Waldport.
The home's surroundings are woodsy and natural, offering a deck where you can sip your morning coffee, soak up the sunshine in the afternoons, and breathe in the cool coastal breezes. It's a scene you can also enjoy in the glassed-in sunroom, a peaceful spot to read, play cards, or sit down to breakfast.
The rest of the interior is bright and open, offering a well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, both a dining area and a breakfast bar, and a window-lined living room with a smart TV. Of the bedrooms, one is a primary suite with its own smart TV, bathroom, and direct access to the deck. Complimentary WiFi and a private washer/dryer are provided as well.

This home is conveniently located just off the Pacific Coast Hwy in a nice little quiet neighborhood. It was very clean and comfortable. My family and I enjoyed our stay there immensely. Everything I needed in the house was easy to find, and the beds were comfortable- even the sofa bed. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Sunlit and Quiet
This house has a great open-plan kitchen dining living space and multiple skylights on a quiet street. The sunroom is a great place to relax when the weather is less than ideal.
The home is great. The cleaning company did well. The couches are uncomfortable. The smell of the home was almost putrid upon check in. I think that the moisture is what causes this. The bedding smelled like the home did and was pretty bad on night one and two.
The house was clean, quiet and comfortable. The light and airy living room was welcoming. The sun room was quite pleasant. Nice big deck with plenty of shade and nice landscaping to look at. It is on quite a steep hill which would have been nice to know. You canât park in the driveway or the garage so you have to use the path from the road to the front door. There are a couple steps up too. Needed to know that as I brought my elderly mother with me and she struggled some. She suggested a handrail there would be helpful. The beds are good quality: 2 doubles, a twin and a full-size hide a bed. Not exactly what was in the description but it worked. Overall, the property was a good value for a well kept home.
