Lovely hotel and staff . The only downside was our room was located next to the refuse area. There was plenty of outdoor space for the bins to be kept away from the guests rooms.

Excellent historic hotel close to Oxford.

Beautiful historic coaching inn. Very well appointed rooms, big comfy bed and excellent breakfast. Close to Oxford park-n-ride (Redbridge).

Restful stay

Welcoming and attentive from arrival to departure. The toiletries provided were so nice. The food was scrumptious. The bed was really comfortable. We had the accessible room which had a ramp up to the door and the bathroom was a wet room. If you are a wheelchair user or find steps difficult its worth checking how accessible the restaurant is as there were a number of steps in different areas to go from the outside to the bar on to the restaurant.

The furniture and decor were excellent the general manager was brilliant the foot very good breakfast was excellent the only very minor detail was the day the manager was abedent breakfast was a little less efficient but nothing to really complain about I’d stay again with pleasure

lovely and comfortable hotel. friendly staff. Nice beer. very accommodating. Chefs should blanch their veg in the afternoon and then finish during service, not boil veg during service because the whole dining room smells as a result.
