This property was advertised as a lodge in the woods and we were looking forward to staying there but it was not a lodge in the woods, just a hotel on the highway.

Room was very small. Bed was just okay. No luggage rack for suitcase. No hangers for a jacket. Desk chair had cracker crumbs on it so had to ask someone to come clean it after hours. Arm chair was old and very worn, not very clean. not comfortable. AC was very noisy and didn't cool room very well. Limited amenities, tiny bar of soap, and no coffee in room. Only one platic cup by the ice bucket. Breakfast was just okay. No juice choices. Coffee was good. Very expensive for what this property offers. Overall the property was very quiet. It was almost like no one else was staying there.

Morning coffee problems

Mattress was very hard, no pillow top. No in room coffee maker. I had to leave my room to get coffee and only 2 chives for coffee creamer and both containers sugar… the milk was locked up because it was after 10:00am, but the staff unlocked the milk for me, even though she was very busy with laundry. Thank you for that.

We were only here one night. After the previous night at a truly awful motel, this was better, but not great. Beds were squeaky, bothering others in the room trying to sleep. Not sure all rooms had this problem.

Great room. It was very clean and updated. Having a great bar attached to the hotel was a giant bonus. It had good food and drinks. While this isn't the fault of the hotel, the road construction outside was extensive which made the stay a bit noisy and a bit dusty.
