I must have stayed at the Warwickshire 20+ times in the last 2 years. Standards have definitely declined drastically which I’m sad about. Dirty bathroom, smelly drains and not as clean as my previous stays. I waited to be seated in the restaurant for at least 5 mins before venturing into the bar and found that empty also. After ringing the bell on the bar a few times I got served. I’m immediately ordered main meal and dessert. The triple cooked chips weren’t cooked through and still hard. I lwaites several minutes after finishing whatever’s edible of my main and found a member of staff to deliver my dessert. They collected my empty plate while delivering the dessert. My apple pie pastry was still soft and soggy on the bottom. For very basic food on a very quiet night, knead surprised that all of my food was under cooked, especially when it was so slow to arrive.

Good facilities but mobile signal was an issue

Lovely room, great location and a beautiful setting. Good facilities—especially the golf—and an enjoyable breakfast. The main downside for us was having no mobile phone signal in our room, despite having three phones on different networks. The Wi-Fi was also a little unreliable. The bar area, while pleasant, was quite lively with children using screens and playing under tables—likely just after swimming lessons had finished—which disrupted the otherwise calm atmosphere. If you’re planning an early, quiet meal, you might prefer to eat elsewhere.

Wonderful stay!

The Warwickshire Hotel and Country Club is a pleasant place to stay with several strong points. The hotel offers plenty of parking, although spaces can become limited at busy times due to spa and gym members also using the facilities. Guests benefit from complimentary use of the gym, which is well equipped with modern, state of the art machines. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with good bathroom facilities and reliable air conditioning. The showers are strong and the overall cleanliness is well maintained. Electric vehicle charging points are available in the car park and the staff are consistently polite and welcoming. There are some areas that could be improved. Mobile phone reception is very poor across the site, which leaves guests dependent on the WiFi. Unfortunately, the WiFi is weak and extremely slow, making even basic video streaming difficult. In room televisions only provide standard local channels and are not smart TVs, which feels limited given the standard of the hotel. Overall the hotel provides a comfortable stay with modern gym facilities and pleasant staff, but improvements to connectivity and in room entertainment would make the experience much stronger.
