A great experience. Jeanne was an outstanding host. I had a relaxing and pleasant experience. The room and entire inn are exceptional and I plan to come back with my husband.
What a great experience. The building was renovated keeping the old world charm. The caretaker is a great person very friendly and hospitable. I loved the sound of the distant trains going by. It was so relaxing. I hope to stay their again soon!
Absolutely loved the Central Hotel! This is a beautifully renovate hotel. It has so much charm. Each room is unique with a tasteful mixture of modern convenience and a decorative touch of years gone by. Jeannie keeps the hotel clean and makes sure you feel welcome. There is an upscale Continental breakfast with Jeannie's personal service to make sure you have what you need. Wish we had planned another night there. The town is charming with a down-home feel. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and unwind, the Central Hotel is a great choice.
Had a great one-night stay at the Central Hotel! Short and convenient distance to Hermann. Our room was spacious, breakfast was good! Jeanne was a great host! We would definitely stay here again if/when we come back to the area!
The Central Hotel in New Haven, MO, is a gem. An old, old hotel in this quaint river town, it was gut-rehabbed and restored 20 or so years ago and today offers a feel of days gone by in a facility that is really very 21st century. The rooms are furnished and decorated in an old fashioned way, but the small TVs are perfect, the wi-fi works well, everything is spotlessly clean and all the plumbing works just the way it should (even in the claw-footed bathtubs found in a couple of the rooms. The lobby is a cozy place to visit, the dining area comfortable and very functional, the sitting porches are great places to pass a few hours with a book or a friend. There are âlittle touchesâ everywhere that make you feel at home. New Haven is not the hoppingest town in the Missouri River valley, but it is only about 10 or 12 minutes away from Washington (to the east), a larger town with lots of entertainment and dining options, and Hermann (to the west), the hub of Missouri wine country.
A great quiet getaway. Loved the porches. Easy driving to wineries, walks along the river, the Old Dutch Tavern, and the quaint town of Washington. Jeannie was the best!
This is one of the cleanest, cutest and nicest places I have booked! A incredibly gracious host! This is a hidden gem worth going out of your way for! Beautiful deckâs AMAZING rooms! Beautifully decorated and a very lovely breakfast! Will be going out of my way to stay here again!
