The hotel is in a great location to see the sites, close to the national mall. Excellent hotel. We particularly enjoyed the Club Lounge, with great food for breakfast and in the evening, and very friendly staff

The microwave was our biggest issue. We believed that as long as we request one we could have one in our room but we had to use the one on the first floor that’s shared for everyone. Very disappointing for the price we paid and for the hotel itself being so extravagant.

Clean, amazing staff, perfect location!

I stayed for three nights with my two kids and I have to say it was absolutely amazing! The room was so clean and perfect for the three of us, and the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I would recommend staying at the Grand Hyatt 100% It is conveniently located within walking distance of a lot of attractions as well and access to the metro is right there. The food was also great. We can’t wait to go back.

Great Stay, but Watch for Fees and Limited Perks

The hotel was amazing—clean, comfortable, and the housekeeping staff was truly top tier. Hotels.com did mention the destination fees, but be aware that they include a $15 daily credit that’s tricky to use. Most items at Cure Bar and Bistro exceed that amount, so unless you’re grabbing an appetizer or something small, it doesn’t go far. That said, being able to charge to the room and just pay the balance at checkout was super convenient—and the sushi there was actually incredible! Also note: there’s a $50 per night hold for incidentals that wasn’t clearly stated on Hotels.com. It’s something to budget for. A couple more positives: the 24-hour gym was a great bonus, and even without a pool, the hotel still offered a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.
