This is an older property. You get what you pay for. Convenient location to attractions. Convenient to restaurants and such. Our tub has a real slow drain and the phone didn't work. Not a deal breaker. Breakfast is great. Bacon and sausage. Eggs. Biscuits Bagels cereal. Coffee and juices. Beds were comfortable in my opinion. Bath towels are small, but sufficient.

Certainly, it was good value for the money. The room was clean and comfortable however, there were some deferred maintenance issues. The first room we were issued had a smoke alarm low battery warning sound and we had to change rooms. The second room had a toilet that did not stop running for the first day or two. I took the lid off and fix that myself. The daily breakfast was quite nice.

Third time staying here because it continues to be the most affordable, safe and clean lodging close to DC with free parking and a surprisingly abundant continental breakfast. Nothing to write home about but saves you money to spend on food and attractions a short drive away.

There was evident fire damage in the lobby. Most of the vents there looked scorched, the roof tiles were misaligned, and the TV screen in the lobby had a cord running to it that was damaged because a fire extinguisher was placed directly on top of it. Our room's carpet was dirty, the room safe was inoperable, and a strand of hair was on one of the pillows and another on the floor of the bathroom. There was no ventilation in the bathroom or room, causing it to remain too stuffy. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly, DoorDash delivered without incident, and the freeway was easily accessible.

Not what I expected for a three star hotel

The bed was the best part of our stay. That was excellent. But the mold on the ceiling, water stained ceilings from previous leaks apparently, cracks in the shower wall, broken towel, bar in the bathroom, plumbing, not operating terribly well, and the TV got pretty terrible reception. Oh, also, the freezer part of the mini fridge was encrusted in ice and frost.

Rooms were shoddy and in need of upgrades, tub fixtures were stained and in poor condition, there was mouse poop on several surfaces in one of our rooms, walls were thin and noise passed easily. Breakfast was ok but pool view from the dining room was less than appetizing-covered in leaves and slime.
