The hosts were fabulous. Couldn't have been nicer or more accomodating. Breakfast was over the top in both quantity and quality. It was a bit embarrasing that we couldn't eat more. It was wonderful. The hosts were quick to grab our bags and helped with suggestions regarding sites and getting around. George even drove us to the subway in our car so that we could avoid paying for parking. I was traveling with a couple of new plants and they kept them in their greenhouse during our stay. The only problem was the location. I didn't feel safe walking around in the evening and it wasn't convenient to the subway system.

This B&B is a rare gem. The rooms are brilliant. George is warm and excellent host. Any disadvantage from being a bit out from the centre of town is overcome as George provides daily drop off to and pick up from the local MET station which is a speedy, safe and clean service. Highly recommended.

The hosts Chef George, and Dave were exceedingly friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious and filling. We could skip lunch every day we stayed because we were fed so well. We would love to come back for another visit and would highly recommend staying with such gracious hosts. No wonder there were so many 5 star reviews.

George and Dave were excellent and really welcoming. Breakfast was incredible every morning and requests were not a problem. The rooms are really clean and secure. We were in Washington DC for vacation and whenever we decide to go back, we'll definitely be staying at Malolo B&B again.

We loved our time at this B&B. George and David are wonderful hosts and made us feel so welcome. We have stayed at a lot of different spaces over the last ten years of travels and this one is one of the more memorable. The room was bright, clean and relaxing. We slept well both evenings. The best parts were the delicious breakfasts and fun conversations with our hosts. They are a kind, friendly and engaging couple. We were given lots of great tips and they readily answered our questions about places to eat/visit. The photo shoot at the end was fun. The location provides a quiet spot with easy access to D.C. the surrounding region. We suggest taking scooters around the Capitol at night and visiting the nearby National Arboretum. We would happily stay here again when in the area.

1st Bears win in 2023

Loved staying here. Will only stay here on any future trips. George was an excellent chef and chauffeur. He even stayed up after midnight to pick us up at the metro stop after a football game. Enjoyed our conversations with Dave & George. They were very helpful & knowledgeable with transportation & things to do in the area. It was nice waking up to the smell of a delicious breakfast every morning. Would recommend staying here 100%.

This was my first bed in breakfast. When I go back to Washington an excellent place to stay up. I would recommend it to anybody if I could give him 10 stars. I'd give him 10 stars.

This was our first time staying at a B&B. I was super impressed. This place was absolutely wonderful. The hosts were super friendly and made you feel like you were at your own home. Very quiet at night and the rooms were super nice. Didn’t take long to fall asleep and stay asleep. The bed was very comfortable. (At least myself and my husband felt comfortable). Chef George was so nice to talk to. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations and he was helpful when we had questions about sightseeing and where to go. Really, my list of good things to say could keep going and going. I have nothing negative to say. I will definitely recommend and come back again. Thank you both for making my D.C trip enjoyable. A gem in a DC neighborhood

This was our first Bed and Breakfast stay and it did not disappoint. In fact, it may have spoiled us for future B&Bs. The house is in the middle of the neighborhood. The neighbors were friendly and we felt comfortable there. The proprietors, George and Dave, made us feel like we were family. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and just what we needed for our first visit to DC. The breakfasts were delicious!! The bed was so comfortable that we didn't want to get up and leave each day!! George was a wonderful resource on how to navigate the City. This place is a gem and we can't wait to get back there!!

If you are ever in the DC area I highly recommend staying at Malolo Bed and Breakfast! Chef Jorge and David were ao welcoming and friendly. They gave us tons of idea of things to do in the area (which we will definitely be back to do). The breakfast Jorge cooked for us each morning was plentiful and delicious! We had fun conversations and a lot of laughs with them. The room was colorful and decorated so nicely- felt like we were somewhere other than DC. The bed was so comfy too! We will be back for sure!

We had never stay at a Bed and Breakfast in the US before Malolo and what a wonderful surprise! George and David provided exceptional hospitality from when we arrived until the very end of our stay. Our room was beautifully decorated and cleaned spotless everyday. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and included a nice variety of dishes. David and George created a familial atmosphere filled with lively and fun conversation as well as insider’s knowledge about the city and helpful tips on how to navigate it. We associate a lot of our wonderful memories of DC with our stay at Malolo and we look forward to go back for our next trip!! Nigel and Chiara

Highly recommend

It was excellent, first time staying at an B&B and it’s going to be hard to compare future stays to this once, they set a high standard. Breakfast was delicious every morning, my complements to Chef George.👍 Very knowledgeable about the area (Washington DC) and could even tell you what buses to catch. Great host with George and David!! If you ever go to Washington DC, I would recommend Malolo B&B over any hotel in the area.
