Perfect for 1 or 2 couples or family as the first bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom has a king bed with an extra long twin trundle. Secluded back yard with private deck and hot tub that is wonderful to soothe muscles after a day of activities. Wall mounted TVs in both bedrooms and living room, all with ROKU and Spectrum Cable. Extensive movie selection available. Fully equipped kitchen. Very charming and cozy! We didn't arrive until after dark and the hosts had the lights on for us. Welcoming snacks were a nice treat! Three of us - my partner and I from Madison, WI and 15 yo grandson from Piqua, OH - loved our two night stay at the Storers’ VRBO in Waynesville. The setting was lovely and quiet, the cabin was immaculate and the attention to detail was remarkable. The instructions were comprehensive and clear, and everything in the house was labeled so we knew what each switch was for, what specific items were recyclable, etc. The wi-fi worked well, the beds were very comfortable and the heat was easy to control. We highly recommend this VRBO.

This place was wonderful! It felt like a cabin in the forest yet it was fully modern and had every accommodation you could think of! Everything was very clean and clearly labeled. Each bedroom had a king bed, a tv, outlet strips, a closet with extra blankets and pillows, and luggage stands. If I’m ever in these parts again, I’d love to stay here!

Home away from home!

I have never been as comfortable at a VRBO than we were at Bear’s Rest. We live in North Carolina on a mountain, so we loved and appreciated the cabin feel and decor. Everything was top notch. The location was perfect, close proximity to our family, restaurants, and groceries but quiet and restful. We hope to be able to visit Bear’s Rest again!
