There are plenty of ways to use each dreamy vacation day, yet simply staying near home base can surprisingly be the best option. Host family dinners inside using the fully remodeled kitchen boasting stainless steel appliances and great views or sit out on the furnished deck to listen to the birds with a good book in hand. This was our first time to North Carolina. We are from the southwest so it is very different here. It is lush and green and beautiful. You have neighbors but you can’t really see them even though there are no fences. The house was great lots of room and privacy and it was clean. Paper products and towels and coffee were scarce but the house is lovely. The drive way is steep and narrow. We enjoyed it very much!

Not the best

Unlike every other Vrbo we’ve stayed in, there was no information provided as to local restaurants and attractions nor instructions for the tv, no coffee, snacks, bottle of wine or “welcome” of any kind. The lock was broke on a sliding glass door which we wedged closed as it took a day to respond. The rugs were very stained. It definitely did not meet the standards of previous vrbo’s.

Lovely home!

This is an extra clean, comfortable, lovely home with a beautiful view and plenty of windows to enjoy it through. The deck was roomy with comfortable chairs. Ultra quiet neighborhood. Would love to spend time there again in the future. Thanks Vacasa!

Great house (2 levels) and location

This house was very clean and comfortable. It is in a quiet neighborhood, and we loved the deck overlooking the mountains. The listing didn't make it clear that one bedroom and 1.5 bathrooms were downstairs below the main level. This caused an issue with us as we could only use the main level. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this house.

Wonderful location

We absolutely loved the house and the neighborhood. The views are stunning. Downtown Waynesville is fun and so close to the house. Do not hesitate if you’re thinking about booking this rental.

Cleaning Disaster

When arriving at house we found that absolutely no cleaning had been done. Garbage can overflowing, wet towels on bathroom floors, beds with dirty sheets and not made, counters not cleaned. Made 5 calls to VaCasa where they promised to get a cleaning person out, but no one showed. After 3 days we gave up and now we are asking for a full refund.

The Willows: A delight for the senses

We spent three beautiful days at The Willows. It was a sensory delight, from the slightly scented air when we arrived to the amazing views. Beds were comfy, linens were soft to the touch. The house was laid out perfectly for our two adult, three kid family. We loved the eat in kitchen, the clean and comfortable soft furnishings, and the relative privacy the landscaping provided us.
