This was a terrible visit! During my stay - I was bitten by the owners pit bull. The owner has not taken any responsibility for this incident even though I contacted her, VRBO and the county animal control.This occurred on the evening of July 5th and I had to go to urgent care, i then contacted the police who sent me to animal control who picked up the dog and quarantined the animal for 10 days - because the dog had broken skin.The owner indicated she would not believe i was injured until I provided pictures of the bite and records from the urgent care. I felt this was very invasive but I did supply that information to VRBO under their incident report. VRBO’s response at this time was they told the owner to refund me my stay of three nights (I only stayed two due to the incident) the cost of my doctor bill and clothing ruined - this was all u requested. The owner has all my information and still has not responded. This was a terrible experience and I do not want anyone else to have to go through what I did! Please be careful especially with children.
