Beautiful hotel and the staff is amazing. We were there the first night the hotel was open so there were some logistics with check-in but probably not an issue now. The staff went above and beyond. The breakfast is top notch and the sauna and view is amazing. Only 4 star for amenities because there is no air conditioning for the summer. Best hotel we stayed in on our trip

We were there for the first night when this hotel opened. Regarding this, everything was well organised and in place. Staff is super helpful and in general it's a great place. Breakfast was delicious. Why 4/5? Well since it was a first day, there were few small things: Electronic check-in didn't work 100%, our room was missing few things etc. I think the biggest minus was a lack of air conditioning and super loud church bells that go on throughout the night (nothing hotel can influence though). I wish all the best for this place and their staff/owners in the future. Hopefully we can visit again.

I really enjoyed my stay at Engelswerk. The hotel has only been open for a few weeks, and it shows in a very positive way: everything is brand new, aesthetically pleasing, thoughtfully designed, and finished with great attention to detail. The room, common areas, and overall atmosphere felt modern, fresh, and welcoming. The room rates are very competitive compared to similar properties in the area, and the breakfast was varied, generous, and of good quality. We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant and I have to admit that the food was excellent, both in terms of quality and presentation. The only area that could be improved is probably the guest arrival experience. Since the reception is not staffed in the afternoon, guests are expected to complete an online self check-in before arrival. Personally, I found this somewhat inconvenient, especially when traveling for business. These highly automated processes can feel impersonal and are not always practical for international guests who may be arriving after a long journey and are expected to handle the entire check-in procedure independently before reaching the hotel. Overall, however, I had a very positive experience and would gladly stay here again. The quality of the hotel, the excellent value for money, and the high standard of the restaurant definitely outweigh the small organizational issues that are understandable for a newly opened property.
