Fruitville Condo West Bay
Property was tastefully decorated, very clean, overall lovely and as expected for the West Bay area (weâve stayed in CI many times). In comparison to other similarly priced rentals, comparable quality and amenities. Bus stop just in front so if you donât get a car (strongly suggest a car), you can still get around. Note that the listing indicated a gym/fitness room, no facilities like this on site. We would consider re-booking this property upon return, host is delightful!The only suggestions similar to other posts:1) Make basics less sparse and overstock (eg, having to ask for garbage bags and TP and not stocking kitchen staples like oil, sugar, oven mitts, tongs/prep utensils, mixing bowls for salad, laundry soap and paper towels is okay for a hotel with 24/7 staff but not for a rental intended to feel more like home). A few other similar properties included kitchen basics like snacks, milk, eggs, OJ, assorted pop, butter, etc.2) We had to ask if there were beach towels and were told beach towels by request because not everyone goes to the beach-okay, but then provide a list of extras to ask for, how do we know to ask for things if we donât have an inventory (at other similar properties there were pro-offered beach umbrella, chairs/blanket, igloo, Bluetooth speaker, snorkel sets and so on for the beach-we didnât see any at this property but maybe we shouldâve asked?).Neither of these suggestions took away from having a great experience, good value!
