The staff/owners of River Valley Inn are so incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful! I ended up having to check in much later than anticipated, but they made sure I had no issues getting access to my room. When I had issues with a key card malfunctioning due to the cold weather, once again the staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a new working card immediately. The room was clean, spacious, and exactly as advertised. I will stay here again!

Staff was very helpful and attentive. However, the room key/door knob was difficult to use (not sure if just old technology or if it was due to the cold weather). Overall, just a couple minor inconveniences (thin walls, door access) but the room itself and comfortability level was great. They also do have coffee and tea in the lobby for guests so that was nice.

The couple managing the property are friendly. But I was disappointed by how the property handled a request to reduce the stay by two days. I asked before the 4 day stay and explained the circumstances were due to a fire. Expedia also asked on my behalf. The request was denied.
