Experience Old-Florida in this adorable 3 Bedroom 2 Bathroom home with large enclosed back yard. The home is in a quiet neighborhood and very centrally located. Just 15 minutes away from the Beach, 5 minutes away from the Mall and 10 minutes from Downtown Melbourne.

The home is fully furnished and stocked with an equipped kitchen and full sized washer/dryer. The living room was recently renovated with light marble tile.

Guest Access/Interaction:
Guest may gain access to the house anytime after check-in with deadbolt code. The house is setup completely for guest use and everything in the house is accessible to guests with the exception of two locked utility closets.
We provide self check-in so we will not meet in person unless the need arises. The listing is setup exclusively for guest use. We are just a message/call away if you need assistance or suggestions of things to do in the area!

Neighborhood:
Simple quiet Old Florida neighborhood. In the middle of everything, you will have easy access to local restaurants, downtown Historic Melbourne and the Beaches. Downtown Historic Melbourne is 10 minutes away and the beach is 15 minutes away. We recommend renting a car or using Uber or Lyft to get around the area. Public transportation in the area is not optimal.

Other Things to Note:
Washer/dryer with detergent are located in the covered porch by the kitchen within the exterior lean-to closet.
We have a Mr. Coffee 6 cup traditional drip coffee maker.
The thermostat has a lower limit of 69 degrees to prevent the unit from freezing.

Convenient getaway for Melbourne airport & area.

Convenient, neat, & clean. Fees seemed a bit high.Primary communication w/ host appeared to be via VRBO app, which I didn’t have. Fortunately we were able to communicate via text to get inside.Minor house comments (for owner):- One remote missing (living room).-Toilets need minor maintenance.- Knives dull. (Add sharpener? ) I liked the T-stat w/ limited adjustment.

This house couldn't have been better, honestly! Pedro's communication, responsiveness and hospitality are top-notch, a real pleasure. The house...perfect in every way. Setting...end of the street, great neighborhood, surrounded by lush trees. Backyard...large fenced, great for relaxing outside in privacy. Thank you for everything, Pedro...we'll be back!!

1st Beach Visit

Several members of our group had never seen the ocean so this was an exciting event for them. Add hurricane Ian into this trip and it's definitely a once in a lifetime experience. Our stay was pleasant even though we cut it short for safety. The property is fantastic, great backyard where we did our own seafood boil while playing great music and some pretty competitive corn hole games. Enjoyed by all, I highly recommend this property and the owners are very attentive and quick to address any concerns or needs. Thank you and I'll be renting again!

Very nice place with lots of room

We kind of waited until the last minute to schedule our accommodations. This cottage did not disappoint. Sometimes the pictures can give false hopes. This was not the case here. I think the place is nicer than the pictures. We will stay here again if in need in this area.

Rough start, great stay

We were unable to access the home upon arrival. Host was ill and unreachable, Vrbo authorized two hotel rooms which were covered. Nice home for a family of six to enjoy the area while visiting a friend at Florida Tech. This was our first time renting a home. The home was well stocked with all the kitchen, bath, and laundry essentials.

Cozy Cottage

We had a good stay at Cozy Cottage. Some issues arose that the owner quickly addressed. Our only complaint would be that there were no instructions. We would have appreciated a folder about the electronics, some area attractions, and general housekeeping. Our location was good, and the neighbors very friendly.

Amazing!!! Perfect!!! Excellent!!

There was a computer glitch that allowed 2 people to rent the same home for the same time. Thankfully the owners caught it and were able to offer us another home. The site readjusted our stay and made it look like we were checking in a day later. Of course, I didn’t notice until we were ready to check it! As I was freaking out, my husband left a message for the owners. They contacted us immediately and reassured me the original dates were correct. It was a beautiful home! Excellent for large groups. Our kids and their families came over and the boys had plenty of room to run and play. We took walks around the neighborhood and loved reading about the history of the area. This kids loved seeing dolphins come right up to the park on the river. The location is very convenient to every place we needed to go. We had everything we needed and it was a wonderful experience. Laura and Pedro were gracious hosts. They checked on us a couple times to make sure we had everything we needed. Excellent home, location and owners. I can’t say enough about our wonderful experience!! Wish I could give more than 5 stars. This was a 10 star experience!

Cozy Cottage is excellent

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very spacious, clean, and conveniently located near many nice Melbourne attractions. The hosts are very friendly and were very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone visiting Melbourne, FL area.

Comfy and quiet - An almost 5-star home!!

I wish I could give half stars on this platform - this home would get 4.5. Our family truly enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cove home. It's an older house typical of the area, at the end of a super quiet street, and equipped with all the essential linens, kitchen basics, etc. Everything was clean and we felt secure in the area. The yard is large, extremely well maintained, and the backyard is completely fenced and gorgeous. I was going to rate this home as 5-stars except for 2 things. Both are easily remedied and I have no doubt this wonderful host will take quick action: We were disappointed that the forks were toddler sized. Pedro quickly dropped off a slightly larger, satisfactory set. The replacements were still smaller than a typical salad fork, but not a big deal since we only ate breakfasts in the home. Our son's friend stayed in the rear bedroom. He said the mattress sagged quite a bit in the middle, but he didn't tell us until after we checked out! He's not large at 6' & 180lbs, so maybe replace the box spring or add a cross bar to the frame? I'm confident the host would have done something to fix that if we would have known earlier. The master bed was far too firm for our tastes. We're both side sleepers and woke up in pain every morning, to the point that I pulled back the sheets to check the brand. It's a nice Tempurpedic mattress, which is probably great for back sleepers. Or maybe it's brand new - they take a bit to soften, I'm told. Our son (an almost 6'4" 300 lbs football player) said the bed in the front bedroom was fine. Both bathrooms were perfect! The kitchen layout is nice and all of the appliances worked very well! Having a nice washer/dryer was a plus to wash our beach towels (bring your own, though - the ones the host provides are nice bath towels not for the beach!). I also had a chance to test the wifi while working remotely for a couple of the days during our visit. It held up wonderfully for my VPN tunnel to the office network while the family was also streaming from our Amazon Prime video account to watch movies and had all their other gadgets connected to it. I work with a lot of rather large files and this has been a problem at other rentals, but not here! Overall we were very happy with the our stay. The home is extremely comfortable to live in, everything is freshly painted (or seems so) and clean, and the host was very nice. We all agreed that we would stay here again.
