WhangaBach – Classic Kiwi Bach with a Modern Twist (Linen Included)

Just 500m from the beach and 200m from Whangamata’s main street, WhangaBach puts everything at your doorstep. The kids can carry their own boogie boards down to the surf, and you won’t have far to carry them home again. If the waves are too big, the harbour (600m away) is perfect for a swim, kayak or paddleboard — or take the plunge off the wharf if you’re feeling brave!

Back at the bach, fire up the BBQ on the sunny back deck, or cook up a storm in the fully equipped modern kitchen. Not in the mood to cook? Wander a couple of minutes down the road for fish & chips, cafes, bars and restaurants.

The large fully fenced section has plenty of room for cars, boats and beach toys, all safely tucked off the road. Kids will love the trampoline and the space for bikes, backyard cricket, or water fights while you relax with a drink in hand.

Convenient Location

We were a family of five plus two extra teenagers. We enjoyed our stay at WhangaBach. It is in a great location - a couple of minutes walk to town and only a few more to the beach. It's a very spacious section, so lots of room for cars, bikes and games. It has a lot of beds, although the bunk room in the house is very small. We found it comfortable for seven people and the sleepout is fairly spacious and convenient with it's own bathroom and small kitchenette.

Perfect Location for Teenagers (and Parents too)

Only a couple minutes walk down to the wharf were young & old do Manus in front of the relaxing beach goers. Just turn 'right' at the round-about and you are in town for a stroll through the shops or sit at the many cafes. New World is also only minutes away...
