The Space:

Snow-dusted peaks frame the view as you step onto the balcony, the quiet of the mountains broken only by the crunch of fresh powder under boots and the soft glow of alpine light. Inside, warmth gathers around the fireplace after winter days spent exploring Whistler’s slopes. Evenings settle into a familiar rhythm - steam rising from the hot tub below, skis stacked neatly in the garage, and the comfort of a well-appointed mountain home waiting for you.



The living spaces

The main living area is open and inviting, anchored by a stone-faced indoor fireplace and large windows that draw the valley and mountain scenery indoors. Comfortable seating makes it easy to unwind with a movie on the TV or linger over conversation while snow falls outside. Heating throughout the home keeps things cozy, with portable fans available for added comfort.



Kitchen and dining

The kitchen is set up for easy winter meals, whether you are preparing breakfast before first tracks or a relaxed dinner after a full day outside. There is space to gather at the dining table for eight, along with a breakfast bar for casual meals. Just off the kitchen, a balcony offers fresh mountain air and access to the BBQ, a welcome option for year-round cooking when conditions allow.



Sleeping arrangements

Four bedrooms are spread across multiple levels, offering space and privacy for groups. Two primary suites occupy the upper level. One features a king bed, TV, private balcony, and an ensuite with a soaking tub and separate shower. The second suite includes a queen bed, TV, balcony, and an ensuite with a shower. On the lower level, a third bedroom offers a king-split bed and TV, while the fourth bedroom includes two twin beds and a TV. These rooms share a full bathroom with a tub and shower. A powder room on the main level adds convenience.



Outdoor living

Winter days end naturally outdoors, where the private hot tub on the lower deck provides a place to warm up under open skies. Upper balconies offer quieter moments to take in the surrounding landscape, even as snow gathers on the trees and rooftops.



Ski access and location

Seasonal ski access connects you to the Dave Murray downhill via a trail located about 200 meters from the townhome. Intermediate skiers can reach the Creekside Gondola from here, with a short walk back on return. Access is weather-dependent and typically available from late December through March.



Additional amenities

The townhouse includes a private entrance, secure garage parking with an additional driveway space, in-unit washer and dryer, high-speed WiFi, and a dedicated workspace. Self check-in with a smart lock makes arrivals simple, and long-term stays are welcome.

Ski access is dependent on weather and snow conditions, and may vary each season. Typically, ski access is available from late December to late March. Our Guest Services team can confirm snow levels before your arrival upon request.



Guest Access:

Guests will have full, private access to the residence, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and the patio or balcony. A private hot tub is available for your exclusive use. A private garage provides parking for one vehicle. Check-in is contactless, with entry provided via a unique door code. Detailed check-in instructions will be sent prior to arrival.



The Neighborhood:

Taluswood is perched high on Whistler Mountain in the peaceful Nordic neighbourhood, offering a quiet, forested setting with sweeping mountain views. With direct access to ski trails leading to Creekside, it’s ideal for intermediate skiers and snowboarders looking for a true slopeside experience. In summer, guests enjoy nearby hiking and biking trails, along with the serenity of being above the bustle of the village. Due to its secluded location, Taluswood is best suited for guests with a vehicle. While there’s no public transit in the immediate area, Creekside’s shops, restaurants, and gondola are just a short drive away, making it easy to enjoy both nature and convenience.

This house was absolutely lovely! It was everything we hoped for & the description was very accurate. The convenience of ski in / ski out was incredible & the house was in a perfect location. Close to the village but high up enough in what felt like an exclusive area to achieve a wonderful view. The house was in beautiful condition & we had everything we needed! Plus, a killer espresso machine that we really enjoyed. We brought our 9 month old & felt that the home was cozy, convenient, and great for a family. Something to be aware of, the 2 downstairs bedrooms each contain twin beds. However, all the bathrooms in the home are great & spacious! Hot tub was clean and so relaxing. Garage set up was awesome with boot warmers & racks set up for all your ski gear! The garage was also heated I believe so it kept our rental car nice & warm. 10/10! Would go back!

Fantastic

We enjoyed every moment of our stay. The listing doesn’t specify, but this unit has a humidifier and heated floors, which really helped this family from Florida adjust during the winter! It was by far the most comfortable family rental we have stayed in, the location was fantastic and it was really well appointed. They even had bathrobes for everyone! The linens and the beds were super comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed (although you will need to bring spices!) and the communication was spot on. We definitely would stay here again!

Our family had a great week here! Clean, new, high-end place with an amazing view from the balcony. Great location, too, about 5 minutes from two Whistler shopping centers. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location

The location was great. A bit confusing to find the first time. Our stay was interrupted by work on all 3 balconies so we couldn’t enjoy sitting outside and enjoy the magnificent views. I would suggest contacting the management before your stay to inquire if there is work scheduled during your stay because we were not contacted before hand. If we were contacted, I would have demanded a relocation or a 100% refund and find somewhere else to stay.

Great stay!

We had some wet, rainy weather (always a risk with spring skiing in BC) so it was nice to have ski-in /out access when some members of the family wanted to quit early or start skiing later. The living room has a beautiful, unobstructed view of the valley. 2 bedrooms are on the lowest level so my teens both slept in the 2nd upstairs bedroom - one on a comfortable pull-out sofa. 7 minute drive to the base of Whistler with lots of restaurant and shopping options. Hoping to stay here again on a future trip!

Stunning Home with Spectacular View

This home is absolutely beautiful. It is newly renovated so everything is pristine and of very high quality. Five of our family (all adults) stayed over the Thanksgiving long weekend. We cooked a large dinner one night and the kitchen was very well equipped with utensils, dishes and serving platters. The view is stunning, and the private hot tub got lots of use. The property management company was responsive to our needs. Highly recommend!
