Great location to Glacier Park entrance. Lovely accommodations. A/C unit not working and WiFi would not connect. But we enjoyed meeting Trudi and Tara. Very responsive to our questions. Definitely would stay again
The property was clean. One full bath was inconveniently on first floor with both bedrooms on second floor. Also on a busy road which was not expected. Gate was closed when arrived and had to contact host on check in instructions.
The location of the property is excellent. It's minutes from the West Glacier entrance. It has a lovely outdoor area for relaxing or having a picnic dinner. While the unit description is accurate, we did not realize that while both bedrooms are upstairs...the 2nd bathroom is on the first floor off the common area. As a senior it is difficult to walk down a flight of stairs and across the common area to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. It has no dishwasher but there is only 4 of everything - glasses, plates etc so you're continually washing.
The cabin is one mile from the entrance to the park making it easy to beat the morning crowds. The cabin is very clean and cute. The beds are very comfortable. The master bedroom has a king bed and private bath. However the second bedroom is very small and you have to go down a steep set of stairs to reach a bathroom.. The adjoining lodge building has a nice outdoor area where you can enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sunset. Overall we were very pleased with the cabin
Good friend and I stayed and enjoyed it very much there! very homey and comfortable! Would definitely stay again with more food myself if i make it back that way again!
This rental was in the perfect location to the West Glacier entrance. The property is well maintained and the owner made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
Very nice property. Unfortunately for us, it was unseasonably hot, but we managed. We had a portable AC unit in one of the bedrooms (the windows did not open) and a fan in the other. The temperature dropped at night, so it was not unbearable. We did not have any problems when contacting the management team, although, we did not have many reasons to do so. In general, everything went very well. Absolutely a place worth considering. It is very close to the Glacier Park entrance and restaurants. We would stay again if planning a trip to the area. The only suggestion is the gate needs a new wheel.
Great location when visiting the park. Tamara communicated with us and even stayed late for us as we got delayed by a crash. Cabin got a little warm as there is only a portable ac unit in one bedroom. It did cool off at night using a fan by an open window. Cabin was mostly clean with some hair found in shower and alot of dust under and behind beds. All anall a good stay.
My spouse and I really enjoyed our stay here! Everything was very clean. We really appreciated that the host provided dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils readily available to use. Check in was a breeze and the host was super accomadating since we arrived a little later than check in time. We loved it here!
This was so clean and well stocked with all we needed. Conveniently located and besides highway and trains making noise occasionally, very peaceful setting.
The cabin is ideally situated for access to Glacier National Park. It was always pleasant to return to the calm of the property after a day at the park. Has beautiful views of the surrounding Mountains.
Property managers very nice. Clean. But noisy from traffic and trains. Location has no immediate appeal even though close to park. Would not recommend it as place to stay
Minutes from entrance to Glacier NP. Very clean Helpful manager who recommended good restaurants and hikes. Our only complaint was that soap was not provided.
After a week of bouncing around in cabins and hotels it was nice to have privacy, space and a kitchen. Host were very accommodating, helped us work around our schedule for check in and answered questions. So close to west entrance of the park and our horse back riding reservations.
The porch, grille, picnic tables and grass was heat to have.
We didnât realize the restaurant was closed as when we booked we read other reviews and was expecting that but it didnât really effect us.
Train does come through, earplugs provided were great.
In august it was a little warm upstairs but there are plenty of fans and the window unit for ac helped both keep it cool and drown out train sound.
Lots of space super clean, cuddly blankets make it feel at home.
Highly recommend.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at Heavenâs Peak. It is close to Glacier National Park where we were spending our vacation. Our VRBO hosts communicated well with us and also kept us in the loop on a possible evacuation due to nearby forest fires. Other reviews noted train noise was a bother, and we would agree with that, especially in the early morning hours. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay!
Overall, the proper was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with the necessary dishes and cookware we needed for our stay.
The two suggestions we have are to place room darkening curtains in the master. This would help to cool the room in the summer and allow guests to sleep better in the morning if not waking prior to/at sunrise.
Second suggestion is to write in the description that freah towels are only provided every 3 days. If we had known this in advance, we would have brought our own. After hiking everyday, only having one towel and washcloth per person for 3 days is not ideal.
