Step off the lift, walk under 200 feet, and you're home. Chasing Powder is a brand-new, designer-renovated condo tucked into The Village at Whitefish Mountain Resort, literally steps from Chair 1 and Chair 2. Sink into a leather chair by the wood-burning fireplace, thaw out in the shared hot tub and sauna, and wake up under a snowy pine mural in a king bed dressed in impossibly soft linens. This is ski-in/ski-out done right, with apres-ski dining and drinks right out the back door.
ABOUT THIS SPACE
Chasing Powder sits on the second floor of the Edelweiss building in The Village at Whitefish Mountain Resort, genuinely one of the closest condos on the mountain to both Chair 1 and Chair 2.
Walk in and you'll notice this isn't your average ski condo. A local designer reimagined every inch with a custom ski-lodge theme: a repurposed red chairlift bench doubles as dining seating, a hand-painted mountain mural wraps the kitchen wall, and a snowy pine forest mural frames the king bed.
The open-concept living area centers on a real wood-burning fireplace, the kind you want to sit in front of after a day of carving groomers. The gray sectional is dressed with a faux-fur throw, there's a mounted 55-inch HDTV with Roku, and the sliding door opens onto a private balcony with mountain views.
The kitchen is fully loaded: Samsung stainless appliances, a dishwasher, a gas range, a waterfall-edge island seating four, and a dedicated coffee bar stocked with a drip maker, French press, and Keurig, plus grounds, pods, creamer, and sugar so your first morning doesn't require a grocery run.
The single bedroom is a retreat, a plush king bed beneath copper pinecone pendant lights, room-darkening shades, and a wall-mounted TV. A sofa bed in the living room sleeps two more, for four guests total.
The spa-style bathroom has a walk-in glass shower, backlit mirror, double vanity, and fully stocked toiletries. In-room ski and snowboard grabbers keep gear off the floor, and the furnishings are genuinely brand new, down to the linens, cookware, and coffee station.
WHO THIS HOME IS BEST FOR
Ski and snowboard couples or small groups who want to walk to the lift instead of driving every morning, you can be on the chair before your coffee's even cold.
Families of up to four who want one bedroom for the adults and a sofa bed for the kids, plus a kitchen stocked enough to skip a few restaurant nights.
Apres-ski lovers who want dining, drinks, and Village energy right outside, no driving required once you're back from the mountain.
Summer visitors chasing Glacier National Park, Whitefish Lake, and mountain biking who still want a comfortable home base with a hot tub to soak in at day's end.
Not the best fit for groups over four guests or anyone needing single-level accessibility, this is a second-floor condo reached by a shared building entrance.
PARKING
Free parking is available on premises, so you won't need to hunt for a spot after a day on the mountain. A paid parking option is also available on premises for groups needing additional space. The condo sits on the second floor of a shared building, so you'll park in the lot and walk a short distance to the entrance, just steps from Chair 1 and Chair 2.
