This is a great option if you want to explore downtown Whitehorse. It’s also convenient if you’re passing through on your way up or down the Alcan. That said, be sure to pay attention to which room you choose. Don’t assume an executive room is going to get you what looks like an apartment style room. That’s on me for not paying better attention as I was in and out of cell service. The quality and design in the room was lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the linens of high quality. I wanted to take the pillows with me! Bathroom is nicely appointed and towels are thick and plentiful. I would offer three amenities to guests in order for this to be a stellar experience - either offer streaming, or have the channels you advertise (they don’t have premium as suggested), add a microwave to the room, and last, allow your guests to adjust the heat without having to open a window.

So I realize check time is 4pm but when I arrive at noon, you are telling me all the rooms are dirty until exactly 4pm? I sat in cafe for 4 hrs repeatedly checking to see if it was ready. The young man at the desk was less than helpful and I couldnt understand half of what he said because of the heavy accent. No plugs by the bed? Seriously? I dont know how that us possible today. Plus whatever the portable AC/heat unit that is vented out of the window is noisy and weird. Not near as nice a hotel as expected for the price. Location not great either.

My wife and I have stayed at the Raven Inn two years running. It is be best hotel in Whitehorse. Clean, safe and quiet. Adequate parking. The staff are uniformly friendly and professional. The adjoining Railwork Lounge is an excellent restaurant, and its staff were very helpful in accommodating my wife’s gluten-free diet requirements.

Don’t eat here for breakfast it’s awful

Stayed for 1 night. The air con unit banged in the room. Could hear noise from outside in the room. The main complaint was the breakfast though, waited 40 minutes for the food. The scrambled eggs came cold, the plate was half a plate of cold potatoes, the one sausage was very chewy and the one piece of bacon was beyond crispy. The server didn’t return to ask how the food was until clearing the table after I had to get her attention to ask for the bill. When checking out the receptionist didn’t ask how the room was etc. I will definitely not be staying here again and I wouldn’t advise other people to either

Well organized check-in, staff are welcoming. Second time staying here to visit Whitehorse. Close to river trail, has a nice restaurant, and within walking distance of restaurants, sporting and outdoor shops. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable.
