Set back one section from the road, this newly renovated batch offers a quiet beach side retreat. Just a 5 minute walk to the township of Whitianga with its abundance of cafes and restaurants and 10 minutes walk to the beach, ferry and banana boat, you'll find plenty to do, or simply stay in and relax with an on site massage (bookings required). If your feeling energetic, walk across the road to the free tennis courts and sports ground.

PROPERTY: A cute little cottage at the rear of property that is only 5 mins walk from the town centre. We had everything we needed including Netflix and laundry facilities. It was clean, tidy and cosy. LOCATION AND THINGS TO DO: With almost water views we were just a short stroll from cafes, restaurants, shopping and visitor info centre. Restuarants were all great with a special mention for Stoked Public House. The weather wasn’t the best during our stay and we are Aussies so water temp too cold for swimming in September. Had a great day trip to Hot Water Beach (amazing) and a good walk to Cathedral Cove afterwards. Thoroughly enjoyed both. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. So relaxing and just what we needed. Host Grant was great too.

We had a comfortable stay. Only thing that annoyed my husband is that he couldn’t sleep while I sat in the lounge watching tv. The sound travelled over the open wall. (I had it down low too) other than that it was a very comfortable and cosy stay.

Whitianga cottage

This is the second time we have stayed at the cottage which is spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, good bathroom and kitchen. It is well equipped with thoughtful touches. It is handy to the estuary and the town centre of Whitianga and in a quiet location. We would book again.

There was no communication with the owner who worked next door until there were issues with the tv & washing machine.Lawns were very long & unkempt & the outlook was an old shack.Not returning or recommend this cottage.

Das kleine FerienhĂ€uschen war wunderbar gemĂŒtlich sehr schön und persönlich eingerichtet. Die KĂŒche und das Badezimmer waren dehr grosszĂŒgig. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefĂŒhlt. Ein wunderschöner kleiner Garten mit Terrasse/Veranda war das i-TĂŒpfelchen. Wir können das HĂ€uschen nur empfehlen. Die Kommunikation mit Grant war hervorragend.
