At this charming farmhouse, you’ll love the tasteful décor, the spacious kitchen-diner and the cosy living room – ideal for cooking, playing and relaxing together. In the large garden, you can enjoy nature during the day and play various games. In the evening, the barbecue and the fire pit at the edge of the woodland invite you to spend cosy hours outdoors. The wood-fired Finnish open-air sauna is a particular highlight from October to March. With a view of the dyke, a warm soak becomes a special experience. Thanks to the raised seating area, even younger children can use it safely and comfortably. On request, you can also book an atmospheric evening of stargazing.



What makes Wierum special is its location right on the Wadden Sea. At high tide, you can go for a swim. There is also a cosy café-restaurant in the village. Why not explore the surrounding area too? Go on a mudflat walk or discover the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Wadden Sea on a boat trip. The Frisian islands and picturesque towns such as Dokkum, with its historic canals and charming alleyways, also make for exciting day trips.



Please note: This attractive farmhouse offers peace and quiet, open spaces and the chance to enjoy nature for families, extended families, those seeking relaxation, retreat groups and nature lovers. It is therefore not suitable for groups where socialising might lead to noise disturbance, such as groups of friends or youth groups. We want all our guests to feel at home here. We therefore ask you to be considerate of the peaceful surroundings at all times and to keep the noise down both during the day and after 10.30 pm.
