Blue Skies Retro Resort is a hidden gem nestled between the Texas Wine Trail and Enchanted Rock in Willow City, TX. With its Palm Springs retro vibe, this unique resort offers five Shasta trailers with private yards, luxurious bathrooms, outdoor showers, a pool, and a covered pavilion, providing guests with a one-of-a-kind experience of relaxation and adventure.



Surrounded by breathtaking sunsets and bright blue skies, Blue Skies Retro Resort is the perfect destination for those seeking a getaway filled with fun, tranquility, and exploration. Located near popular attractions such as Johnson City, Comfort, and Kerrville, guests can enjoy hiking, shopping, great restaurants, wineries, and abundant wildlife, making it an ideal spot for a memorable Spring Break vacation.



Getting Around:

This retro resort, with its five unique trailers, sits 14 miles northeast of downtown Fredericksburg, a historical town with abundant German influence in the heart of Texas wine country. Head into town to peruse the farmers market, dine out at one of the excellent local restaurants, do a bit of shopping, or taste the local varietals at some wine tasting rooms. Enchanted Rock State Natural Area is 12 miles northwest, where you can hike, set out a picnic, go birding, stargaze, or go rock climbing.



Other Things to Note:

Important: We are committed to protecting our properties and staying compliant with short-term rental regulations. As part of our protection plan, included in your booking price, you will be required to complete an independent third-party verification through Truvi. Before your booking begins, you will be contacted via email and/or text to confirm your details and complete the verification process.



To ensure a smooth check-in experience, you'll also be asked to review and sign the House Rules, Emerald Stay Terms & Conditions, provide a copy of your ID and credit card details for incidentals and reason for visit via the Guest App Link sent in your reservation confirmation. Please make sure to complete both steps at least 24 hours before your arrival to receive your arrival instructions.



Please note that payments over $1,000 require a quick verification step. Guesty Pay Protect will contact you via email before your payment is processed to complete this verification. If the verification isn’t completed within 15 minutes, the reservation will unfortunately be canceled due to non-payment.



HOUSE RULES:

- Pets are not allowed.

- Fireworks are not allowed.

- No smoking on the premises, inside or outside.

- Minimum smoking fee: $150 (per camper). However, the total charge may be higher if the property's condition renders it temporarily unrentable.

- Primary guest must be at least 21 years old and present for the entirety of the stay.

- Unauthorized parties and events are NOT allowed without prior written approval.

- Early check-in and late check-out are possible, subject to availability and with an associated fee.

- There is a fireplace on site. We kindly ask guests to bring their supplies, extinguish any flames/coals after each use, and adhere to any county burn ban in effect.

- The propane bbq grill must be cleaned and tank is turned off after use.

- If any furniture is moved, please place it back in the original space it was found. *Fees may apply*

- Additional charges (including shipping fees) may apply if personal items are left behind.

- Please note that the showers are covered, but are outdoors. In winter, we offer heaters to ensure your comfort.



Pool Rules:

- There is no lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk.

- Please, no glass in the pool area. Fees may apply if glass is found.

- Ensure children are monitored at all times.

- Please close the umbrellas after every use.

- Please ensure that the gates remain shut at all times due to an unsupervised water feature (pool) on the premises.

- For health, safety, and maintenance reasons, pets are strictly prohibited from entering the pool. A $500 fine will be charged if this rule is violated.



HVAC Rules:

Please note that this is a glamping experience, and the campers are not as insulated as in a traditional home. While the AC and heating systems typically maintain a comfortable temperature, they may struggle during extreme heat or cold. Please do not set the home's thermostat above 76 (heating) or below 68 (cooling). To avoid overloading the system, please adjust the thermostat by no more than 2 degrees per hour and keep the doors and windows closed as much as possible. If you encounter any issues, don’t hesitate to contact us.



Trash Rules:

- Please place all trash in the designated trash bins outside the campers, one by the BBQ pit and one by the pool. (Please ensure no bags are placed in the compost or recycling bins - fees may apply)



Rural Property:

Please note that this is a rural property out in the Texas Hill Country, where it's common to encounter wildlife such as birds, reptiles, deer, and other local fauna. Rural areas like ours may have limited or different services compared to urban settings, including cell phone and delivery services.



As you may know, Texas is known for its bug inhabitants. Rest assured, we take proactive measures to manage this, and it shouldn't pose a problem during your stay. To help us keep them outside, please keep all windows and doors closed. Please feel free to use the bug spray underneath the sinks.
