Great house in a great location! Would stay here again!
Dena and Daryl's place was just awesome! From the time we arrived, it felt like home.We loved that it was pet friendly, with a fully fenced yard for the pups. And with two large bedrooms, two large bathrooms (bonus), and a pull-out sofa for guests, there was plenty of room to spread out and have some privacy!Located only 2 blocks from the Cargo District, it was walkable to many small shops, restaurants, a distillery and a tap house.Communication with the owners was great! If you are looking for a comfortable and charming house in a convenient location, this is the place for you!
Carolina Cargo is an amazing home away from home! We stayed for approximately 1 month while we waited to close on our new home. It was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located to groceries, restaurants, and downtown Wilmington. The kitchen was well stocked with anything we might need to prepare meals, including a crock pot! It was perfect. The neighborhood provided a lovely place to walk our dogs (and ourselves!) and the property itself was well maintained. Our hosts were available whenever we needed anything and always responsive to questions, etc... Being able to have our dogs with us was also a major benefit of staying here. Backyard is completely fenced and secure and I didn't have to worry about our dog who is an escape artist! Neighbors were friendly and there was ample parking behind the house and on the street. Highly, highly recommend! If I needed a place to stay or for friends to stay, I would definitely look to book here.
We had a great time in Wilmington for family weekend. The place was recently renovated and very nice. It was on an incredibly busy street. Anyone with smaller children would probably want to avoid. There was also a tremendous amount of road noise throughout the night. If youâre a late sleeper, I might pick a different location.
The owners were very responsive and great to work with during our stay. When we first came to the house, there was no shampoo or body wash in the bathroom, but they brought those by quickly. Then, on the second day, the fan in the master bedroom unhinged and started disconnecting from the ceiling. The owner came and removed it quickly.
