The staff was excellent and helpful. But place was not it. The rooms would smell mildew after cleaning. Also had employee sold out room we was moving out. The keys don't work like supposed to..

Accessible to local WAVE (The Cape Fear Public Transportation Authority) Bus Line from Downtown Wilmington to Monkey Junction with connections via South College Road to destinations West for $2.00 each ride. Walkable distances to established local restaurants within 1-mile like Frontier Food to Go, Sub Stop, Ming Wok Chinese and Los Portales Mexican Taqueria, Savour Southern Kitchen, Taqueria Food Truck & Shaved Ice Stand, Merritt's Burger House, 1504 Resto-Bar and Breakfast House along Carolina Beach Road as well as Fast Food Chains like Little Caesar's Pizza, KFC, McDonald's, Waffle House and BoJangle's Frid Chicken. Like a half way house

This place is sad and run down. Flimsy mattresses, bare minimum is an understatement. It would be ok for a night or 2 if the hotel policies were not so dehumanizing. I’m not sure what is going on, but the way these people scrutinize you as though you are doing something wrong or will be soon is really off putting. I’m assume everyone who stays here is a human who deserves kindness and a service for the money they are spending on a room. What a bizarre experience. It’s like a half way house atmosphere. It’s sad and depressing.
