We stayed here for a night during our road trip, and it was the perfect choice. The George Washington Hotel has such a beautiful, historic charm that makes it stand out. The service was excellent, the rooms were comfortable, and it provided the restful atmosphere we needed before hitting the road again. Highly recommend if you're passing through Winchester!

Everything was great. John that checked me in was a huge help with my luggage. When I was leaving the next day there was an older man that works at the hotel that was telling me all about the history of the hotel, I loved that! The room was clean and comfortable. I loved the older furniture and art all of the walls everywhere in the hotel. Lovely stay!

I love this hotel. I have stayed here once or twice a year over the past few years for the affordability, cleanliness, pool, hot tub, and location on my way up north. This past stay I noticed they are doing their best to keep up with increasing maintenance demands and decreasing profits.
