Amazing stay at the stunning Mayfair House!

A stunning property, immaculate condition with everything that we needed within the property to make our stay perfect. The house was beautifully designed and decorated, with great attention to detail and smelt incredible! The view of the lake was bonus and a great location walking from the back of the house down the hill to the shops and restaurants. Otto, Rebecca and Phil were very attentive prior to and during our stay, really prompt at responding and providing useful information. Otto went above and beyond and even took a food delivery for us and unpacked prior to our arrival, which was so helpful. We can’t wait to return to enjoy the house and lakes again.

Stunning property in a perfect location

We stayed here for a celebratory weekend in the Lakes. It was spotlessly clean and in a perfect location - quiet with a lovely lake view yet only a few minutes walk down the hill into bustling Bowness for shops and restaurants. The owners have done a beautiful job of renovating the property and ensuring it was very well equipped. We loved the Pure Lakes toiletries and the welcome hamper was a lovely touch too. Our only very minor points of improvement would be that an Aircon unit would be beneficial in hot weather and the steps from the garden down to the back gate are steep and can be slippy in wet weather so a warning would be helpful for any guests who may not be steady on their feet. Otherwise it was a perfect stay and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

Fabulous property. Everything top class and immaculate. Communications were excellent .The location couldn't have been better with plenty of parking spaces available. We love Bowness and we will definitely return. Many thanks for makung my birthday weekend perfect.

Outstanding property and excellent stay

What an absolutely stunning place to stay! The property is convenient for Bowness, has a generous private parking area and was thoughtfully prepared with attention to detail. The lake view was a bonus. The accommodation oozed quality throughout and was very well finished, and lacked nothing for an enjoyable break. All communication with the hosts was timely and detailed. We will definitely be returning!

This place was amazing from start to finish, peaceful, relaxing, private. The property is of a very high standard and fully equipped for all our needs. I would be interested in prices for aug/sep for 1 week if you could forward them for me. Only tiny issue for me was that at 5 foot I did not see the signs saying ‘mind the step’ and fell down heavily twisting my knee. Perhaps lower the sign onto the door or highlight the step as the floor blends into the bedroom floor. Please do not see this as negative, we had a wonderful time. Thank you so much.
