Furnished house located in Scotia Heights, 5 km. or 15 min of ride from/to Downtown. Safe and beautiful neighborhood shaded by big trees. Access from street or back lane. Parking for three cars. Quiet and friendly neighbors. Grocery shopping within walking distance (2 city blocks, 1 large grocery store and 1 retail store, 7/11, Pharmacy). Bicycle scenic path to two city parks with outdoor public swimming pool and to Downtown, (15-20 min ride) .
Inside: recently renovated from ceiling to floors. Laundry on the first floor. Kitchen has everything to have breakfast and cook dinner on fairly new appliances. AC on both floors. Bedding and towels provided for up to 10 people. 4 bedrooms on second floor. Leather and cloth couches in living room. Beds: 1 queen, 1 double, 3 twins, 1 futon, 1 cot, 1sngl air mattress of bed hight.
Hot water is hot enough. Plumbing updated: no rusty water, drains well. Free Wi-Fi. Additional items available upon request.
Family's humble short hair cat Gopher lives in the basement, has own amenities and separate entrance outside for guarding walks. His access to rental space controlled by basement door. He attends vet regularly and gets fur maintenance bi-weekly. Cats lovers can enjoy his company (he loves people), others can keep door shut with notification to owner.
People from all backgrounds welcome.

Tony is a most kind host when I did something stupid Like forget a code or some other such basic requirement. Home is what it was for me . Clean , super comfortable beds ! Soft sheets , plenty of kitchen amenities as well . I would live here if I could afford it Gopher was not welcomed calmly by my dog sadly . So only visits I had was middle of the night if I went to the living room and left the wildabeast in his kennel . He is so lovely and chirps and chats

This is a fantastic older house with lots of character. When you are driving north on Main Street you might get nervous at the individuals outside on the street but don't worry where the house is a quiet street. Very clean house with an adorable cat Gopher who loves people and treats. Highly recommended

What a nice property! The beds were comfortable. The house is spacious and was stocked with everything we needed. A big bonus is the washer & dryer that is available for use. I loved the deck as well. The cat is ADORABLE! We will definitely be stayed here again!!

My 3 granddaughters,ages 17-26, and I totally enjoyed the fact we each had our own rooms and great gathering/play space. We were so happy a deck of cards were there and we had such fun! The parking was a bit of a challenge but luckily my granddaughters are adept at figuring out workable solutions. Since I'm on a fixed budget and they are college students, the price was right for our budget. The host has a great sense of humor judging by his clever labeling, even trees got special attention. Thanks Tony, a delightful 3 days!

Historic house with many neat features, fairly well maintained. Stairs to second floor where rooms are could be a challenge if mobility issues. Kitchen well stocked, as well as bathrooms and laundry room. Front and back yards are fenced but could not let my young dog unleashed as to many hazards. Very nice neighborhood with mature trees and streets to walk. Parking at the door. Host is A+ with communication.

Weekend getaway

Property was as described and it felt like home away from home. Great character, very spacious. Comfortable beds. It was crazy hot the weekend we stayed and the AC worked like a charm. Highly recommend and we’ll be back again.

Got a Cozy Room

We just stayed at this place to sleep for 2 nights, and I can say that the room where we spent our nights was very cozy! Thumbs up for that! The only downside, I guess, was the bathroom shower, it was difficult to balance the hot and cold water or I should say you cannot balance it at all. So, I'm rating this 4 out of 5 stars!

Charming Turn of the Century Home

Cool house!

Great house with lots of charm in a good section of town. Stayed this past weekend and there was extreme cold warnings, but the house was warm and cozy with the fireplace. One side note: if you are allergic to cats, this is not a place for you. Gopher the cat, is cute and likes people and has free roam of the house. When I read reviews I thought it was just an outside cat.

Quiet Refuge

We found the house warm with the fireplace. All the mirrors made the spaces seem even bigger, and the style of the marbled and mirrored bathroom was so nice! I loved the cabin-like room upstairs with the windows all around and the wooden ceiling and walls.

Gorgeous Heritage Home

I stayed for a couple of weeks and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The bed was comfortable and the the house was warm for the season. I will return if I'm able. My little dog needed to be carried up and down the stairs but that was a minor concern since he only weighs 11 pounds.

Beautiful Historic Home

It was gorgeous from the moment you stepped up to the gate. Communication with the Owner was very easy. Tony attended to a problem with the TV the very day it occurred. The bed was comfortable (I only slept in the Master room). Having the cupboards stocked with so many dry goods and spices was very helpful.

Our stay was very pleasant. The house is older, but roomy and comfortable. There is a friendly cat on the property and he has a cat door so you may catch a glimpse. The kitchen was stocked adequately with utensils, plates, etc. There is a very nice outdoor deck to relax on.
