Welcome to my home and enjoy the peaceful and cozy atmosphere in the best neighborhood of Winnipeg. It’s convenient to all the amenities which is within walking distances. While it’s tranquility for your personal life! A friendly remind that the host will be in the first floor of a 3 floor townhouse. You have the whole the other 2 storeys which are bedrooms on the 3rd floor and sitting room and kitchen on the 2rd floor. If you are not comfortable with that, I could understand! Just to be transparent for no misunderstanding if any!

The house is very lived in. Personal belongings everywhere, it’s like they dropped everything they are doing when they get a reservation, pack a bag and head out while people stay in their house. It was not clean, the bathrooms especially. The toilets were nasty, showers were used and not wiped down. We could only find one towel in the entire place for 4 ppl. There was smelly leftover in the fridge and a pot of rotting boiled chicken left in a pot on the stove. Upon arrival the owner text me and asked if I could change the laundry over as she did not have time before she left. (The bedding for our bedrooms) Very disappointed, would be nice to be reimbursed our money! The only reason we stayed was because it was non refundable!

Home not house

While the host is very nice and great at communication, and the house is in a safe location, this is someone’s home not a rental house. It’s is full of personal belongings, which made me feel like a squatter. The fridge was full, cooked food on the stove, family photos everywhere.

Property was as advertised. Second bed was more of a thick foam pad. Fine for a few nights. Would recommend and stay there again. Fantastic location easy access to everything we needed

What can I say
we checked in on a Friday planning to stay two nights. We brought our stuff up, ran a few errands while we gathered our thoughts and then ran back to grab all of our stuff even though it was non refundable we came to the conclusion we would not be comfortable and chose to leave. Pros: easy check in, replied promptly, nice neighborhood Cons: house is extremely lived in. Personal effects absolutely everywhere, don’t even consider going there with curious children who likely will want to touch everything, cause there is a lot they can get into. Fridge was full of their personal food including their leftovers which left a very unappealing smell where we wouldn’t have even considered also storing our food in there (not that there was room). Counter space was unusable due to countertop appliances and various cooking ingredients all over. Office right in living area had papers and various things all over desk, home owners clothing was all over home, purses, hats and bras hanging all throughout the house. The home owners personal toothbrushes were in cups in the bathroom. Sleeping arrangements wouldn’t have worked for our party size. 4 people in 1 twin and 1 double bed doesn’t really work. Personal family photos everywhere. I felt like a squatter. Hoping we get a refund. I’ll attach photos but can only attach 8 I took many more than that
