Tranquil reconnection

We had an amazing stay. The house is spacious and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. The location is perfect for quick trips into Winthrop or a day trip to Lake Pearrygin. We hope to stay here again soon!

Everything We Wanted

This home was the perfect getaway for my family of 4! It was relaxing with the creek in view and the sauna downstairs. And we had a lot of fun playing pool in the evenings as well. Close to town and yet far enough away to feel like you're glamping. We hope to return again soon!

Sunflower Event trip

We were in the Valley last year for the Sunflower marathon and stayed elsewhere. We came back (2022) this year and stayed at here. WOW! It is quiet, beautiful, and the river is steps out the door. We sat and relaxed post marathon relay near the water and had coffee in the morning down there. It is a really nice place. Plenty of room for all of us, plenty of bathrooms-no one was waiting for anyone to finish up. There is a washer and dryer which came in handy after a muddy run. We had deer walk through the property on our last night with two young ones! It was so cool to see them just walk on through. That isn't a sight many of us see often. Highly recommend but not during the Sunflower Marathon - we'll be back!!! (Hopefully)

Great Rental!

We really enjoyed our stay and this property was amazing. I would suggest only a couple things however - 1. It should be known that the main bedroom wall is not fully enclosed (does not go to ceiling). Because of this, it was impossible to get our baby to sleep with noise in the living room. 2. The glass on the coffee table moves off the frame and this is a major safety hazard, especially with yound children. We had to keep adjusting it the entire weekend. Other than that, everything was great. A baby gate might be helpful too for the down stairs, as a baby could easily fall down these. Thank you!!!!

Comfortable home with a lovely river view!

Two couples enjoyed our recent stay in this lovely riverside home. The location is close to Winthrop and hiking trails along Highway 20. The accommodations were clean and comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. The hot tub was very relaxing after hiking and playing pool was fun! We hope to return again soon!

Perfect riverfront getawAy

Our family absolutely loved our stay here. It’s only about 7 minutes from the town of Winthrop, but it felt like we were in our own little riverfront oasis far away. The house has a number of heater systems we had to figure out, but once we did it was incredibly cozy! Beds were fantastic, furniture was comfy to lounge on, and the best part was enjoying countless hours with our 4 year old down by the river and exploring the area. We stayed 4 nights, could have stayed forever, and can’t wait to come back!

Whimsical retreat both convenient and remote!

Twas myself, my husband, our three daughters, my father, and my brother who stayed! Easy check-in, beautiful location, fun amenities with pool table, hot tub, river access on property! Would have been great to have chalk available and pool cues in better condition but we enjoyed it none the less!! Mountain bikes and inner tubes were provided for fun, we utilized both. Rode into town and had a complete blast! Felt like a dream!! Thank you so much for a modern rustic much needed getaway!!

Ski trip

This house was in a great location for our group to ski the Methow community ski trails. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the living room had plenty seating around the coffee table to visit and play games in the evening. We will be back!

Good for larger group

Our family of 8 stayed here for 8 days. The location is beautiful; right on the river and very quiet. The house suited our needs- plenty of beds and having 3 showers was really nice. The communication was great, and there were nice touches- like telling us we could use their inner tubes for the river and placing the ice cream maker bowl in the freezer. The kitchen was small, but very well equipped with plenty of dishes, cookware, dishwasher, cleaning supplies. The washer and dryer were large and brand new. For me, the most negative thing was the lack of air conditioning since we had two 100 degree days. There were fans, but sleeping was a bit uncomfortable as was hanging out in the living room on those really hot days. The house was clean, but the house in general could use some updating. The downstairs bathroom needs a door and the sauna room could use a curtain as there is a window that looks right in. It would be nice to have a broom and vacuum available. We did enjoy our stay.

Winter ski trip

We had a great time at the Winthrop Cabin. Our two families had plenty of room, the space was great, and we had nightly soaks in the hottub, games of pool and board games. The driveway was very icy due to the snow and recently sunny days, but was fine with AWD. Would definitely stay there again. Alex

Perfect fit

My co-workers and I found your place an ideal rental. It's location on the river is fantastic. There was plenty of room for our morning and evening collaborative data processing and survey planning and kitchen room for cooking..... as well as bedroom organization that provided us each personal space and privacy. Sadly, we had long work days every day so we didn't have time to fully utilize all the great components of the house. For example, we never turned on or used the hot tub, nor did we play pool. Next time!!! Thank you.

Not clean and no air conditioning

We found used dental floss and dirty socks by the bed. The place does not have air conditioning either, and when we were there it was 97 degrees. When we contacted the property manager to ask about cooling it down, they said it would be fine if we opened he windows and turned on the fans. At 10:30 at night it was still 88 in the house and too hot to sleep. We had to check out early because our kids couldn’t sleep, and the property manager has refused to return my emails or calls about a partial refund.
