Eagles Nest Retreat! Private Decks In Town
The Eagle's Nest is conveniently located nearby Timme's Dam and close to all the Dellsâ attractions. If you have a fishing license, Timme's Dam is a perfect spot to make use of it. Kayak, paddle board or canoe into Mirror Lake just footsteps away from your front door. The best part about this home is the decks! There are 2 large decks on the back of the home that are perfect for grilling, hanging out and enjoying the beauty that made the Dells famous. You can easily see the water and listen to the peaceful sound from either of the back decks. There are also decks off the 2nd floor bedrooms and the loft room with pretty views. When you step inside, you'll find a beautiful, relaxing fireplace, comfortable new couches with a 42 inch TV and a fully stocked kitchen with brand new appliances. Another popular feature is the Jacuzzi-soak away your tensions in the spa room! Heading upstairs, you'll find 2 bedrooms, more new couches and a 55 inch TV with DVD player. There's also a futon here as well as a beautifully crafted log table with an integrated checker board. On the 3rd level, you'll find 4 twin beds and a fantastic view off the deck. We'd love the opportunity to share this fabulous home with you. We are committed to ensuring your vacation is the best it can be **The Eagle's Nest may not be for everyone since there are steep stairs to get to second floor ( 2 bedrooms, living room and loft)**
Great place for families. We had a mix of young kids/toddlers and adults. The kids loved sleeping and playing in the loft upstairs that has 4 beds. The two bedrooms on the 2nd floor are large enough for pack and plays and/or cots so that young kids can sleep in the same room as parents (even though they end up in mom and dad's beds by morning, of course). The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, pots and pans, basic seasonings, and a dishwasher! The jacuzzi tub is huge. My 6ft 5in husband could strech his legs out no problem, with plenty of room for me, too. Also big enough to throw all the kids in for a bath after a day at the water park. There are three designated parking spots across the street with additional unspecified spots as well. No yard to play in, but it's a quick 5 minute walk to Ralph Hines Park that has a playground, pavilion, grills and a picnic area. A few notes on features that didn't impact our stay, but might be helpful to know for future guests with mobility limitations: both flights of stairs (to 2nd floor and to the loft) are quite steep, but they have hand rails on both sides. We had the young kids scoot down the stairs on their butts for safety. There are two bathrooms but they are both on the first floor, and there is only one small bedroom on the first floor. The parking spots are close, but you do have to cross the street. There are two steps (if I remember correctly) to get from the sidewalk to the house. Ashtrays are provided on the decks.
The house had plenty of sleeping room for our family. It was clean and comfortable, with several separate gatherings areas, for its small space. The general location was perfect for proximity to so many attractions.
The house was a perfect place for our family to stay. The location is amazing and the kids had a blast. The property is very clean and the hosts are easy to communicate with. Thanks for letting us stay!
overall the Eagle Nest Retreat was a great place to stay. Very clean and property manager communicated very well. I would offer though a word of caution related to climbing very steep stairs to bedrooms. Only one bedroom on the first floor. Also, when unloading your vehicle you are required to park across from the house and walk across a highway and unload and reload your vehicle.
the cabin is very nice, with cabin like feeling, great location, close to everything. one of the cons is that the only bedroom downstairs is colder and we had to increase the heat of the whole cabin for that room to remain warm. also both restrooms are in the first floor so if you have an elderly person, they need to stay in that room downstairs. other than that, the stay was fantastic and i loved the "backyard view" and the little hike to the dam. i recommend this stay
Cute place and we loved that it was so close to many restaurants and tourists spots (5 mins or less). We went up to Chula Vista for a day pass and it was only 15 minutes away. Note the stairs are very steep so older folks may have trouble on them. Both bathrooms are on the 1 st floor and most bedrooms are on floors 2 and 3. The kids loved staying in the loft up top. It was very cold this time of year so sadly we didnât get to enjoy the balconies. The view was gorgeous. Excellent communication from the host.
Peaceful rustic location with easy access to Lake Delton and Dells attractions
This home was perfect for our needs during a short family trip to explore the Dells and Lake Delton. The decks were very spacious and put to good use while drinking coffee in the mornings or unwinding at the end of each night. My parents stayed in the bedroom on the main floor, while the rest of us 30 year somethingâs stayed upstairs. One thing worth mentioning, the stairs are quite steep and may be a challenge for those elderly folks with bad knees. We enjoyed our stay very much and would absolutely consider rebooking if we visit the area again with a large group!
Eagleâs Nest was a great vacation spot for our family of eleven. There were comfortable spaces for everyone. The deck had two large picnic tables and a nice, clean grill which we used for a cookout. We put the little ones in the jacuzzi tub for a bath, which they enjoyed. It seemed like everywhere we wanted to go was within a fifteen minute drive, or less. I recommend this charming home.
We had an amazing time at the Dells and Eagles Nest was the center of it all. Great central location made everything easy! Kids had the nest and the adults had the bottom floors which worked great! Thank you Dondra for the great communication! Hope to be back!
The loft bedroom was perfect for the 4 kid's with us - they loved it. Next level was 2 bedrooms & play area or could use as extra sleeping. The living room had a long table but we used the great picnic tables on the deck for eating. 2 bathrooms & bedroom (spa room we used for all of our storage)
This is a charming home, perfectly located in the Dells. It worked perfectly for our family of 10 - 6 adults, 4 kids (5-9). The kids enjoyed the fenced-in front yard, and it was very easy to get to all the activities we enjoyed. Our host was great and quick to reply to any questions. There was a lovely book of attractions to visit, and brochures available.
Two considerations - the stairs are rather steep, and both bathrooms are on the first floor. While we were fine with this, it could be difficult for some groups.
Six of us stayed in this amazing house for our first trip to the Dells. Plenty of room for all. Super clean, and the owners and property management were outstanding! The location is perfect and minutes from anywhere youâll go locally. We will absolutely be back!!!
This is a great property with plenty of room! Perfect for a family, as it has plenty of beds! The stairs to the 2nd and 3rd floor are a little precarious but it all worked out. The decks out back are fantastic and have a beautiful view. Perfect kitchen for cooking meals in too! We brought lots of card games to play and loved the bench style kitchen table. We were able to make sure everyone was included
We had a large family gathering of 12 grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins and we all had a great time! The beds were beyond comfortable! And despite the cozy quarters, we didn't have any issues hearing each other in the bedrooms! We would definitely stay again! Loved the walk to the dam as well!
We really enjoyed our stay with you. The house with all the decks and great sized bedrooms was amazing. The kiddos loved the loft area. Great hangout spot for them. We only had a few things that we felt like need to be addressed. We noticed before we even started using the bathrooms, that along the edge of the showers was mold. There was also mold where you put detergent in for the washer. We also didnât realize there wasnât much for a lawn for the kids to hang out in. I wish that was listed so we were better prepared in that aspect. Over all our experience was great. Thank you for letting us stay.
Great property and location. House wa perfect for our group of 7 adults and 4 kids ages 2 through 8. Beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water and space to be together and to spread out when needed. Location close to great attractions.
