Huon Creek Retreat features impressive open-plan indoor and outdoor living spaces, with two living areas, two bathrooms, four bedrooms, outdoor bath and heated spa, large undercover entertaining area all surrounded by acres of manicured lawn. Fully equipped and luxuriously appointed, no expense has been spared in providing a truly first-rate guest experience.

Huon Creek Retreat offers flexible bedding configurations, suitable for both family and group getaways. Offering 10 beds, the entire home sleeps up to 15 guests.
Comfortably sleeping 8 guests in three King bedrooms and a fourth with two King singles. Larger bookings 9+ will have the option of a sofa and removable bed within the home and a Bell Top Tent with bedding configuration for up to 4 guests close by in the gardens.
*To accommodate groups of all sizes bedrooms are allocated by guest numbers twin share. Bedding for guests 9-15 is not readily available when booking for 1-8 guests unless requested.

New outdoor heated hydrotherapy Spa takes your relaxing stay to the next level. Positioned to capture gorgeous views from sunrise to sunset. Perfect for use day or night, all year round, sit back and relax and soak in the tranquillity of solitude and surrounding views. Best bit, day or night its always ready for a dip when you are.

Seeking something more private, tucked away in the shelter of the ensuite nook is the outdoor bath, overlooking the gorgeous rolling hills of Huon Creek.

While the property offers the ultimate in privacy and luxury appointments, it is well within reach of Albury, Wodonga, Lake Hume and the mighty Murray River and the ideal base to explore the North East Gourmet Food and Wine Regions, Beechworth, Yackandandah, Rutherglen, King Valley to name just a few.

Seasonal Huon Creek winds through the centre of the property attracting an abundance of bird and wildlife to the area, during your stay you may see Kangaroos, Wallabies and Echidnas as well as our farm cattle, sheep, and resident chickens that provide farm fresh eggs.

Huon Creek Retreat is situated centrally within North East Victoria and Southern NSW. The property is a perfect base for day trip exploration of the diverse region that features national parks, iconic waterways, alpine peaks, gourmet food producers, several world-class wine regions, historic towns and cultural centres.

Offering comfortable day trip experiences within a 100km driving radius. Within proximity, 20-45 minutes drive you’ll find the historic tourist town of Beechworth, Albury Wodonga, access to the Murray River, national parks and the world-renowned Rutherglen Wine Region. 15 minutes drive further on opens up access to Wangaratta and the Milawa Gourmet Region, Glenrowan (Ned Kelly Country) and the King Valley wine region with its famous Prosecco Road.

A little further afield ski and day visitation alpine areas including Falls Creek and Mount Buffalo can be visited. Popular across the entire district are the cycling activities that include the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail, mountain bike parks and road cycling peak-to-peak rides. All-in-all it’s an action-packed and extremely diverse region.

Exclusive use for one group, we offer privacy during your stay but live close by and available via phone, text or app should you need anything.

Huon Creek Retreat is located in the heart of a 150 acre working farm. As guests you are welcome to explore our beautiful property and creek flowing through the centre. At times we may need to attend the workshop, or tend to the livestock, these are far enough away to ensure your privacy, and wont disrupt your peaceful stay.

Our property has cattle, sheep and closer to the home chickens that provide some farm fresh eggs.

Other things to note
For your convenience, bedroom access and bedding is allocated according to booked guest numbers twin share. This allows smaller groups to enjoy the retreat without needing to pay for additional rooms. All bookings will enjoy the privacy of the home, however for smaller groups, any unused bedrooms will simply be locked.

Bedding configuration. Entire home 15 Guests | 10 Beds.
Bookings for <8 guests, 4 bedrooms, 3 King and 2 King Single.
Groups 9+ bedding not readily available unless booked, options available include; sofa bed, trundle, bell top tent with Queen and two singles.

As a farm stay in a rural setting, we have an abundance of birds and wildlife. Whilst we endeavour to limit the less positive side of their presence, and clean on day of arrival there is always evidence that they exist. During your stay birds will peck and admire themselves in the windows and nest in home surrounds.
