Enjoy an entire house to yourself at Chestnut Residence, located in the historic city of Worcester. Your humble abode sits just on the edge of the city centre, keeping you close to all the action while providing a peaceful retreat away from the noise.

The Space:
Chestnut Residence offers a peaceful retreat, tucked away down a grassy driveway, providing you with all the privacy you need during your stay. There's ample parking space on the way up to the house, ensuring convenience for your group.

As you enter, you'll find the kitchen at the back of the house, beyond the dining room. Fully equipped with everything you need, the kitchen provides plenty of space for you to work your culinary magic. From here, you can step outside into the backyard courtyard to enjoy some fresh air.

The living area, located to the left as you enter, is perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Relax on the large sofa, which also folds out into a bed for extra guests. A 50” smart TV with Alexa is included, so you can easily control your entertainment without the need for a remote. From the living room, you’ll have a view of the driveway, offering just enough seclusion from the main road while still keeping an eye on your parked cars.

With three spacious bedrooms, everyone will have plenty of room to unpack and make themselves at home. For additional guests, there’s a sofa bed in the living room. The house is designed to accommodate all your needs, with two bathrooms to share. Take your time in the downstairs bathroom, which includes a bathtub, or opt for a quicker shower in the upstairs bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The property did not live up to its listing images. As soon as we opened the door, the house stank of stale cigarette smoke. Sofas were stained and the carpets were dirty. We were not able to stay at the property as a result - we left and booked a hotel instead.

We were moved property

We booked this residence but the Host and Stay company who look after it said it was having maintenance done 4 days before our stay and we were moved to another property. This property was smaller, only 2 double rooms and a single room with a double bed against the wall, just one bathroom, only 4 dining chairs, a 3 seater sofa so we couldn't sit together. It was also further away from the town. Host and Stay initially said we couldn't have a refund on the difference in price from the property we booked to the one we stayed in. They are currently processing my complaint. Host and Stay took our booking off Vrbo and on to their own platform.
