Ocean view, spacious south-facing terrace, beach right outside the door, and right in the heart of Wyk: Our approximately 43 m² vacation apartment at Königstraße 5 (Atlantischer Hof) combines a prime location right on the North Sea with easy access to everything that makes Wyk so wonderful—ideal for two people who want to enjoy Föhr in a relaxed setting, right by the sea.
This modern and tastefully furnished, ground-floor, non-smoking one-room apartment features a bright living and sleeping area with a spacious double bed (2 × 1.80 m), a cozy couch, and an armchair with a footstool. Even from the dining table, you can enjoy the view of the North Sea while having breakfast.
The special highlight is the spacious south-facing terrace with a sea view. The beach and the North Sea lie right before you, and you can also enjoy the view of Wyk’s Mittelbrücke bridge and out toward the Halligen islands. Whether at breakfast, during a quick break in between, or at the end of a lovely day on the island—here you can fully relax and enjoy that Föhr vibe. During the summer months, you’ll also have your own beach chair available on the terrace.
The separate kitchen is fully equipped. The bathroom features a shower and toilet. For added comfort, the shower is equipped with a grab bar and a fold-out shower seat. The apartment is located on the first floor; there is one step at the entrance to the building. In the hallway, a spacious closet offers plenty of room for your vacation luggage.
The location is one of the apartment’s greatest strengths: The beach and promenade are right in front of the house, and Wyk’s downtown area practically begins right at your doorstep. Restaurants, cafés, and shops are just a few steps away. The Wyk ferry terminal is also only about 300 meters away—especially convenient if you’re traveling without a car.
This way, you can start your day with a view of the sea, head to the beach on a whim, stroll through Wyk, and wind down the evening back on your terrace overlooking the North Sea.
Parking spaces are available at the house, subject to availability. If there’s no space available there, there’s a free public parking lot about 400 meters away.
You can store your bicycles in the building’s shared bicycle storage room.
