Villa Verano - Luxury 2 Bed Villa with heated pool and sea views

Luxury 2 bedroom villa with partial sea views and a short walk of under 5 mins to the coastal path.

We have owned Villa Verano since 2003 and we totally refurbished and refurnished to a high standard in 2018 and continue to make improvements and upgrades regularly. The response from the majority of our guests is how welcoming, peaceful, relaxing and a home from home feel our villa gives

The pool is 8m x 4m and is heated using a solar system during the warmer months and the electric heater for the winter, this is at no additional cost to guests, outside by the pool area there is also a dining area along with a brick built BBQ as shown in the photo`s the outside dining table is situated under the pergola where you can get some shade and a break from the sun if needed, otherwise there are plenty of sun loungers on the patio.

The pool area is set in an elevated position and is not overlooked and you can also see the sea

There are two bedrooms, one double and the 2nd a twin room, and there is a double sofa bed in the lounge.

There is Free WIFI and a TV system with full sky package (no extra cost) including German, Italian and other international and local channels

The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, microwave etc

There is also a dining room inside with seating for 6 people, and a highchair at the villa if required at no extra cost.

For Restaurants and Bars it is a 10 min walk to Faro Park where there are a few to choose from along with 2-3 supermarkets. Going in the other direction it is a 2-3 mins walk to the sea front with no roads to cross, here there is a small beach and a beach bar that sells drinks, snacks and lunch. Heading towards the town centre along the coastal path there are more restaurants within 10 mins at Natura Beach, a further 15 mins from there you will be at Flamingo beach where there are more amenities.
If you like diving there is a dive school at Natura beach (10 mins walk) It is approx 40 mins walk to the town centre from the villa, it a lovely walk and one we do regularly ourselves

For those that do not have a car the local bus service is very good and a bus stop very close to the villa, within a couple of minutes walk and a very good taxi service, there are contact details and further information on these in the villa

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely villa. It is exactly as described in the listing. The house is spotlessly clean and very well stocked with everything you would need (kitchen equipment, bedding, laundry). We really appreciated having a full size fridge-freezer and the sofas are large and comfortable - perfect for lazy evenings. The location is wonderful and only a short walk to the promenade. It's also very quiet, with lots of residential housing around it. Communications with the host were excellent and any queries were dealt with immediately. We would definitely stay here again.

Well used villa which needs a little TLC. Well situated, can walk to local shops and restaurants and very well positioned for local bus service. Although situated behind a hotel it still has good views out to sea and the lighthouse. We enjoyed the pool and appreciated the pool heating.

Great value, Villa has everything needed

Nice quite spot in a mainly residential area. About 10 minutes stroll to the shops and restaurants (less that 2 minutes to drive) Pool was cleaned twice a week and cleaning weekly. Bed was comfortable which is unusual in my experience! All rooms were spotless and well looked after, streaming TV so plenty to choose from if that's what you need.

Lovely house and pool. Not very private with a low wall to the adjoining property, but that wasn't a problem. The pool was wonderful, a good size and lovely and warm. The outside furniture (sun beds) were past their best, the outdoor table and chairs were great though.

Quiet location, but only a short taxi ride into Playa Blanca. Good size pool with plenty of garden space, comfy sun loungers. Small supermarket within walking distance along with a couple of bars and restaurants. Overall the villa is somewhere we would return but a few improvements could be made regarding the ventilation, the ceiling fans don't really move the air about enough especially in the main bedroom, and leaving windows open is not really an option due to them being on the ground floor and no way to lock them open just a little. The alarm system did not work during our stay but this was not an issue for us as we don't take any valuables away with us.

Our stay in this property was excellent. Dawn is a very responsive host. Attentive to our needs and timely. He uses local people to manage the property and they were all very efficient and responsive too. We stayed for two weeks. The property is close to a beautiful walking/running path that we used daily. This villa is truly amazing and ideal for a family.Dawn was a a great host and there was brilliant communication from when we booked.Villa is absolutely spotless and furnished to the highest standard.All amenities included including washing machine, dishwasher and large fridge freezer.The pool area was amazing and the pool was heated even in January when we stayed.Great location and close to a good parade of shops, bars and restaurants.Approximately 40 minute walk into Playa Blanca, however the bus service is excellent which takes around 10 minutes.We had an amazing time and will.be looking at booking again both in the summer and again in early new year 2026.Thanks to Dawn for a truly amazing holiday.

What a wonderful little place a home from home with an added pool.in the garden great place nice location Would definitely recommend if u after a nice chilled holiday If i was going to give anything bad about this place is that the pool was over chemicals as this made my daughters and partners hair and our clothes turn green which hasnt come out in the wash not sure if this down to the amount of chemicals going in or the type but the guy who cleaned the pool which was twice a week was really nice and friendly Part from this could not fault it at all x

We loved the pool, the garden the bbq and the sea views. Only five minute walk to the beautiful walkway and little bar where you can sit and look at the sea. It is a good 40 minutes walk in to Playa Blanca along the walkway. We felt the villa is now a little tired and a few things could do with updating. There are no numbers in the oven so you cannot set the temperature for the oven making it difficult to set the temperature. The light over the bbq is broken so if you want to bbq on an evening you can’t see to do so. My husband took a head torch so he could see to cook. The bedding on the double bed was ripped, mismatched and rubbed up/bobbly making it uncomfortable. I spoke to Gemma about these issues and was told her and her team can only work with what they have. I contacted the owner before booking and was assured these things has been rectified before we booked but clearly they weren’t as we had the same issues two years ago.

Good choice for a quiet location.

We had a very pleasant, comfortable four week holiday in Villa Verano. The property is described as "luxury" - this is a little misleading I think! It is certainly a clean, comfortable, well equipped semi detached holiday villa in a quiet location. We had only glimpses of our next door local neighbours over the low section of the dividing back wall wall and their two dogs were very quiet. The double bed was comfortable, the pool was heated to take off any chill and was cleaned twice a week. Cleaning and change of sheets and towels was also weekly. The information folder needs updating - the manager has changed. The new manager, Gemma is very helpful. Some of the towels had seen better days - two had rips in them. The dining area is actually part of the utility room or vice versa! I do feel it would be better to put a cupboard in the kitchen area (where the bin is) for the bucket and mop, pan and brush etc rather that having them in the corner by the dining table! But these things aside, we were comfortable and had a relaxing time in the villa. The tv has hundreds of channels to choose from which was great as we didn't venture out much in the evenings. The area near Faro Park is quiet but the small supermarket and good restaurants and bus stop were only 10 minute walk away. It is 5 minutes to the coastal path by the Royal Monica Hotel and there are lots of walks in the area for those who like the wilder side of Playa Blanca without the shops and tourists. Recommended.

Disappointed to find fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine plus assortment of cleaning items etc. stored in the corner of the 'dining room' (not even in a cupboard). The shower cubicle is very small and larger than UK16 won't get in. Bathroom lacks towel rail. Only 1 large and 1 small towel per person supplied. Rain resulted in a huge puddle of water in the living room as driveway slops to front door which opens directly onto the living room. The property alarm system is not working. Cleaners came reliably each week.The Pool is lovely - about 8 swim strokes long and cleaned twice/week. Outside shower works well. Be aware that there is no shade at hottest part of day. Privacy outside poor as only a low wall between the villa and the neighbours (who are locals) and a low wall at the bottom of the garden. The property is situated behind the Hotel Royal Monica so not only does this block sea view apart from a glimpse at either end but residence walking along the landing walkways are able to look across to the villa and pool. Dog barking an issue. 4 min walk to sea front via hotel pathway then about 50 min walk to center of Playa Blanca. Bus service good and taxi about 5 euros. Shops and restaurants 10 min walk.
